I think this is definitely one of the harder dance challenges. More so than 2x even if that's more tiring. Because in this one you have to actively fight _against_ your muscle memory while still remembering all the other moves lol

Agree. Even more so for the boys because they have to execute intense choreography without using their arms for balance, such as lying down and getting up, jumping, kicking, or even popping and locking. The girls have stabler leg movements since there are less drastic shifts but still, resisting muscle memory is difficult for everyone.

@@woozihae I don't think so. Having to stop using one hand at piano is definitely much less devastating than having to stop dancing with one part of the body. It's more comparable to stop using one of the finger when playing.

I lost it during RV's when they let them use their arms in the end, WENDY WENT OFF, she just popped off screaming and dancing like rent was due. I'm screaming, Gfriend right after was just a wholesome mess. SinB with her pants, Yuju having no idea of who she was, what was going on, practically asking what's the meaning of life, was everything. Poor Yerin being hit as soon as they could use their arms. Honorable mention to BTOB's "worm dance". They way they all fell on the floor was just hilarious.

It's super hard. It's not just about choreography. Arms are for balance, timing the beat, and spatial awareness of themselves to other group members.

I was drinking something when Twice finished "Knock Knock" and I was NOT ready for BTOB just falling to the ground with no arms, I started choking since I couldn't spit take with all my papers on my desk. Thanks, I almost died! lol

Mamamoo is the loudest one, since they basically vent their frustration on their vocal chord and just screams 🤣🤣 Btob basically just gives up they can only did it for a few seconds before falling apart 😭 Gfriend is the most violent one tho lol, ppl literally got hit, pants almost dropped, etc. Chaotic af 😂

GFriend pull off most of dance challenges. This is the most chaotic challenge I've seen them do, moreso doing the song that has the most complicated footworks. I miss them.

I was laughing the whole time, but the realization that Gfriend won't be able do this together as 6, at least not in a very long time, is really crushing my heart.

Mamamoo twice and rv were amazing Gfriend and btob were hilarious and good

BTOB's start is already funny, and how can you expect them dance with no hand when they can even forget the dances normally 🤣

I’m not even a Gfriend stan but their attempt was so hilarious. They really have a lot of arm movement in their choreo lol

This just shows how K-pop coreographers tend to make girl group dances very upper body orientated, instead of incorporating movement of the entire body. Lots of arm movements, lot of static and light dances... I would love to see more strength, boldness and sharpness in girl group coreographies. K-pop industry is the only one that actually differentiates between "male" and "female" dances. Dance has no gender, it's an art form intended for everyone to enjoy.

2x is not that tiring when you compare with no-arms fr. as a dancer, 2x its quite easy despite the velocity and all, if you have practiced a lot the coreo, it will be easy, just tiring. But no-arms, bruh-- fr your body just stop working, a lot of us use arms as a timing to the dance (principally the ones that have more upper body movements and strong and marked arm steps), not only this but muscle memory, so without arms, we literally forget everything, its so hard lol but at my old music school (as im no longer a dance and music student), Orpheus, my teacher would make us dance without arms and after stopping the music sometimes and then coming back for practice our memory and timing lol the same goes to the band, we would practice with the backsound and out of nowhere the teacher would stop the song and let only our voices or give us a jumpscare to see if we were cautious to even with jumpscares, not stop. this is how important practice is lmao

Actually Coni and Doni left WI bcs mbc wanted get rid of WI staff and hire new staff but they wanted Coni&Doni to stay as MC but they didn't want to so they left with their WI staff and that's how Idol Room was created(sorry for my bad English TT)
