The interception that Purdy threw was straight up blind. He threw it right to the linebacker and it came back to bite Nebraska’s chances of being Bowl eligible. The Nebraska football program has not been the same after Tom Osborne retired

The problem was the fan base and school( very very foolishly) completely over estimated the strength and quality of the b12 and moronically under estimated the strength and quality of the B10 up and down which minus your outlier seasons, the b10 is and has been by far a much more superior conference. And nebraska thought because of their success in the 12 that would transfer over. But nobody that’s a fan of a big10 school even blinked at nebraska joining and knew the rude awakening was coming for nebraska and unfortunately for them they’ve been the door mat of the conference after cutting Bo. 8-9 wins was successful nebraska fans just can’t grasp the concept that program is no longer a major player in college football.players nowadays have never lived in a world where nebraska was relevant so they’re not getting the attention of the recruits who are the best of the best. Those years are long gone. And it ain’t gonna change no matter who the coach is outside of a Sabin, Smart, Meyer, etc those natty winning coachs and the weight of their name, reputation, and resume is the only way to attempt to get back in the top 10 team convo.. it is what it is. Rhul is a great coach and he’ll get em better but not in a single year

It’s a developmental program and they’re proud of that. Iowa’s recruiting class is consistently ranked between #30 and #40. They’ve turned numerous walk-ons, 3-star guys etc. into NFL players. A good example- Iowa was Cooper DeJean’s only FBS offer and he’s going to be a first round pick in the spring.

Yep, your team was so upset about that loss a couple years ago that they rigged this game at Beaver Stadium on Saturday night for a White Out game and every other advantage just to beat Iowa. I prob miss bo more than anyone though because he made his players and the media feel him. He laid the rath of god down his players and they responded. Not to mention constant 9-3 records. Will they get blown out in the championship game? Probably. It’s not iowas fault. This is the last year of the east and west thankfully. Michigan choked in the playoff last year. It’s Not like they got dog walked by TCU. OSU also choked. Georgia and OSU were definitely the best 2 teams last year.

we are not scared of the pac12 teams, UCLA and USC suck currently (7-5 with caleb williams????). Iowa put up 49 in a win vs USC in 2019. Oregon and Washington aren't used to playing defense. Watch Washington v Arizona State this year and tell me I have to worry🙄
