TBH, I'll be surprised if they do win it all. Houston has too many injuries going against them right now. Their starting forward was literally playing with one hand because he had 7 stitches in that game, the starting point guard was limping too, and they just lost their 3rd bench player due to season ending injuries.

Do you know the track record of the UH program? This program realistically should have like 5 titles already. They choked them all historically. This is the program that ended Wooden's UCLA reign in college basketball. They beat Kareem straight up on the road. That team had two future NBA Hall of famers. They beat Kansas by 30 that season. And they choked in the final four. This program had 3 first ballot NBA hall of famers on their team in the 80s, went undefeated 30-0 and choked it in the finals.... So like dominance in conference doesnt mean sh!t when talking about UH..... They will always have an elite program, but until they end the curse you just cant bet on them....

It’s crazy I was just reading an ESPN article about Big 12 coaches comments on Houston. One of them was that they think Houston’s weakness is trying to score 80+ points in a game. They did just that in this slug fest of a match.

Houston fan here, Oklahoma has serious potential to get to the S16 or even the E8. They are a VERY good team. Dangerous

Nobody said that the S16 was the only goal, but you seem doubtful they're for real, and anyway the S16 is still quite an accomplishment in and of itself. Quit trying to claim UH's season will be a failure if they don't win the natty. That was an awful decision by the Oklahoma player who tied the game not to take a 3 at the buzzer. If you're a sizeable underdog, why would you allow your opponent to take the last shot? You not only have to get a defensive stop and avoid having the refs call a foul to decide the game, but then you have to beat a superior team in overtime if you get the stop. OU had time to draw up a game-winning play. I've always held that you go for the win in that situation. Very low IQ basketball to do otherwise
