You are a life saver ! Subscribed ! I spent $1800 on INK in the last 1 year using this printer. I was thinking about buying a Lasetjet printer instead to save on ink. But this has made printing very cheap for me.

Right my old school pixma cartridges were sooooo cheap & lasted for so long. This new one goes thru ink so quickly & isn’t as sturdy. His video saved me hundreds

Very good video and helped me a lot. The one thing he didn't mention was how tough the plastic is to get through in the first place. The 'tool' i was given didn't touch it. I realised I only needed a hole for the syringe to get through. The instructions I received with my kit said to enlarge the airhole. I managed this with a map pin and micro screwdriver. That made life a lot easier. I also replaced the labels instead of tape, worked from new so should be OK.

Im so aggrevated with my printer saying im out of ink yet i out my cartridge in another printer and its still almost full. at least now i can add a bit of ink and be uo and goong again in no time. Nice easy explanation, thank you. I recently bought a TR4700 because I need to fax every week. As soon as the "black ink getting low" message came on, it would no longer print the fax confirmation. I'm hoping this will clear up as soon as the "out of ink" reset takes place. Thanks again.

i searched for 5 weeks to find a video for this series printer and took a chance a bought some ink on amazon and followed i think one of your videos for i think 245/246 cartridge and it works so far i wish i had this video a month and a half ago.

@@BCHTechnologies so I went on and got an Excel and IT ruined something happened where it would not print out the yellow properly but anyways I just went on the bch Technologies website and notice that the ink cartridge has now included 276 and I wanted to know and then I came to your page to see if there has been any update videos which it hasn't that would include the 276-275 ink cartridges I wanted to know if it was real or not because I wanted to use that printer cuz I still like that printer just the ink too expensive

Excellent video! Thank you! I've found the hand drill too weak to pierce the hard plastic. Take a small drill bit, power drill. Used the lowest torque setting and you can get it open in seconds.

If you have the newer TR 4720, you will have to hold the Stop button down much longer than this model printer. It also doesn't exactly click, but it does allow you to continue using refilled cartridges and cut your printing costs down by 1/4th.

On the black PG-275 cartridge, do you just drill one cell and it will fill the entire box, or you need to drill ALL cells then fill each one individually ? Thanks in advance. 🤔🙂😉

Hello this my first time refilling ink cartridges. Do you have to have the color filled as well?

Is there a way to set the cartridge without getting the code E04?

The new 275 Fine cartridges have no indent to make a hole for the needle to go in and dispense ink, they have designed it in such a way that there are all small troughs and no indent to make a hole and dispense ink.

To prime run deep cleaning. Waste ink pump is going to suck air from nozzles, when printer is doing wery loud sound is runing waste pump to prime (about 1 sec.)

You are a king!! PG445XL and PL446XL I’m going to do try your method when ink runs out. Will the method work with my cartridges? And will bigger holes affect printing? I gave my cartridges to repair guy who added ink without opening cartridge and without increasing hole size. Any ideas on how he did it? I’m blown away by his technique which he is not telling me. There are no signs of opening cartridge or increasing air hole.

I did exactly the same thing for refilling cartridges. The color works but the the black ink says 304 it reads no cartridge detected and will not print. How to get rid of the code 304

I have the MG2522 printer & it says both ink are low . Both ink lights just stay on no blinking. I tried doing what u say in the video but it does nothing. It also prints nothing. What can I do😭

If you buy their kit, it comes with the hand drill. Or you can use a 1/8 inch drill bit.

If the cartridges don't print a color, do several Deep Cleaning. It solved my problem.

I just bought a refill pack from your company. But wonder if you have a large size refill bottle for black ink? (I just use alot of black ink)

This is already addressed in the video.

If youre capable of gentle touch you can just use a drill with a small bit, most drill sets come with one the size of that manual torture device that the kit has. On slow to medium speed it takes a whopping 10 seconds to drill each hole. Besides that, "burping" the black cartridge was the hardest, I have the rubber insert and the stand but getting the air seal had me pushing down really hard while using the syringe at the same time. Works now, I think the kit I bought was some $20 and came with those huge ink bottles that will last me longer than the printer.

How do you get the xl cartridge to fit in there?

The XL has a thinner cover and larger sponge but the shell is the same.

Hi, excellent video. However, i have a TR4700 Canon series and I refilled the cartridges BEFORE they depleted and now nothing prints. I can not get rid of the "low ink" message. Followed your suggestion to hold down the "triangle" or "Stop" button for a few seconds and nothing. Held the button down for a minute and nothing. Any other suggestions?

Hey can you help me your video helped I have the Canon TS 3522 however the ink refill worked a couple times but now it's printing blanks after I refilled it last night any tips on how to fix this please reply ASAP thank you please note I clicked the reset button held at 3 seconds and I also held down the stop button turn the printer on and off and I also held the printer cartridge against a paper to see if any ink is coming out and the part on the cartridge that looks like a film strip yeah I pressed that against a tissue paper to see if any ink comes out and the ink lines black and the color comes out fine so I don't know why it's not printing help me out please thank you

Okay I have an update so the printer the Canon TS 3522 I believe its 275 cartridge it's printing color but it's not printing all black that's crazy is there any way to fix this

If a cartridge says PG it means it uses pigment ink, can you tell us if you used dye ink to replace the ink?

All the time. I’ve been using dye ink in Canon PG and PGI cartridges for over ten years.

Someone told me one time that printer ink is one of the most expensive fluids anywhere? Thanks for refill hat save me big $$$

I have a miniature rotary tool with tiny drill bits. I used it at a relatively low speed so I wouldn't accidentally drill to far.

Wear gloves before opening them because you'll probably get ink on your hands. Pry close to the edge where there is a gap and and once its off it will 3-4ml of ink if its black ink. after your done just put some duct tape over and tape it so it wont open by itself @@Indigodream0

I am here to say that this did not work for me. I know there was a firmware update a few months ago so it's possible thats the reason but i bought the refill kit, filled the cartridges, and now everything printing is yellow when it should be black. I'm ready to give up on my pixma lol

FORGET THAT OH MY GOSH IT WORKED IT WORKED. IVE TRIED TO GET THIS TO WORK FOR A TOTAL OF LIKE 4 OR 5 HOURS STREWN ACROSS 2 DAYS AND IT FINALLY WORKED. THANK YOU KEVIN!!!!!!

You can find it on the interwebs but it's very expensive. A set of black and color XL is 99.99

I ran my Canon 2522 cartridges out before refill and now the printer won't recognize the cartridges. Didn't know any better. If I refill a cartridge before it runs empty, I should be ok right? These printers are a scam!

there's a search function in the channel. Under the video go to the link to the channel, go to Videos and write the number of the model of the cartridge in the search bar. One video should be about it.

Thank you so much for this video. Canon charges entirely too much for their cartridges. Generic prices aren't that much better. I thought I'd let you know II bypassed the "magic moment". I don't need to count the pages I've printed. Here's what I did. *I DON'T use a wireless connection. I don't know if that's important or not. I also don't know for sure which of these things bypassed the need to reset the page count. *** This is probably the most important part*** I turned off the printer and disconnected it from the PC. No information can be collected and stored on my PC to send to Canon. They don't know what I'm doing. - I turned the printer back on to access the cartridges - Put in the cartridge I just refilled. - *BEFORE* printing, checking anything, aligning cartridges, ANYTHING AT ALL ... I turned my printer off again. - I turned it back on. I wasn't getting a message that I'm low on ink -- Still not connected to my PC and still no access to the internet, I copied and printed something random. - After connecting to my PC the printer had access to the internet. I printed a document. No message about low ink. - I don't have to keep tabs on how many pages I've printed. Canon, as well as most printer manufacturers collect information about your use of the printer. It's in the "Terms and Conditions" most people don't read when they install the printer software. I opted out. That might have something to do with the results I got. I also have a lot of other security measures in place to prevent companies from collecting information about me or my system, or finger printing. Some of my apps are blocked from accessing the internet at all. Canon is blocked.
