@klb770 This NMIXX reaction journey is actually happening because I was HEAVILY against O.O when they first debuted. I almost wrote them off completely because it was one of my least favorite songs I had heard from any group. BUT these new songs have been a blast to check out and Is the beginning of me liking everything 🙌🏽🙌🏽

NMIXX are this generation's version of Red Velvet; no song is ever the same as the previous song. Both groups are highly experimental so they are not nailed down to any single genre or style or concept. We never know what we are going to get next. That's appealing to many people. I like a very wide variety of music, my tastes are very eclectic. This group is awesome partially for its unpredictability. Let's just hope they don't lose any more members...

If you loved passionfruit mayne you'll love COOL if you haven't reacted to it and also Tank is one if their hard hitting songs and BOOM which is one of my favorites

Now that they have more songs it's clear to see what the group is about, they change the genre and vibe every comeback and sometimes in the same song and you'll never know what you're gonna get ( they say it in the lyrics: roll the dice what a surprise or I'll be your Jack in the box...) that might put off some listeners but NMIXX is just lots of fun

They released the official instrumental for Dice, if you want to hear it more clear. It's realy cool

listen to cool, roller coaster and My gosh! for a different vibe and more vocals. lol There's also Hey Mama by david guetta performance. if you want to see an actual beast lol it's so good

Right, NMIXX are queens of cover songs, but the David Guetta track is just on another level.

bae is an angel, she is so adorable and so cute, her personality is so lovable

OMG FELLO BAE BIAS HERE I LOVE HERRRR. Jiwoo is at the start of Young Dumb Stupid lol. People mix her up with Kyujin a LOT. Jiwoo has bigger eyes and rounder cheeks. Haewon resembles them both slightly but you can usually tell Haewon apart because of her overall vibe in how she carries herself. Jiwoo and Kyujin are both beasts when performing and look alike in videos often LMAO

This is my general rule of thumb for them: - Lily: Bob cuts on OT7 eras, Blondes (Pure, Strawberry) on OT6 eras. Big Eyes because of Western Genes. - Haewon: Either Short hair or Long Hair, between Wavy and Straight but never too much of them, slanted small eyes. - Sullyoon: Longest haircut most of the times and wavy almost 100%, prominent eyelashes. Soft face feaures. - Bae: Quite similar to Haewon but with a more oval face and a slightly "Crooked" nose. Gets Short and/or Straight haircuts. - Jiwoo: Also similar to Haewon and Bae, small eyes and a quite oval face. Tends to get the funky, craziest hairstyles. Has a mole? - Kyujin: Extremely similar to Sullyoon but with more strong and sharp features. Also gets hair colors alike to strong reds.

Nmixx’s concept is that they mix it up every time, including their musical genres and styles. Two things you can always expect: great vocals and the unexpected. I’m glad to see you enjoying more of their music. I’ll be back for your next Nmixx reactions ❤

NMIXX songs slap! They are giving me NCT127 vibe in terms of the overall style and musicality. Their songs are so much fun and versatile. I would strongly suggest you to check out their entire discography. My personal favourite from them is My Gosh, Boom and O.O

It's crazy how NMIXX shouldn't have to go through all of this if JYP just gave them a normal debut song. They got a huge hype back then and any decent song would have made their debut good. But yeah JYP gave them that song and killed all their momentum. The biggest irony is they got their first win in a song that doesn't sound like their group concept. They would have been an instant success if JYP didn't experimented on their music.

Well, JYP is big enough to not care i guess. I remember JYP said that they actually care about having consistent increasing fanbase rather than fast success. So i think they want to find niche market that like this style of music and willing to spend on their albums. JYP said their benchmark is album sales and from what I see, they succeed.

This is where ITZY failed, in my opinion, their road to success is too fast and they failed to create dedicated fanbase because they are too focusing on what they 'think' is trending to appease general public. TWICE meanwhile succeed doing it which is the reason even experimental track like Signal succeed and they can change their genre here and there. I like ITZY too btw. I just blame JYP mischoice there.

I appreciate you tagging along on this redemption journey! The Mixpop changeups are a lot less random to me now that I know that that is a staple of the group and It's fun checking these out without "faking" a certain response. Yup, Passionfruit definitely has a big role in why Fe3O4 still holds strong as my AOTY benchmark. And the way you liked it, I strongly recommend Cool (Your Rainbow) ... it's something of an NMIXX "secret fan favorite", also a B-side track, but does have a MV (nothing as spectacular as Dice etc., but it's a really ... cool ... track). Meanwhile, Dice is one of my benchmarks for 10/10 MV creativity (not necessarily the refined MV production, but the raw creativity). And I literally cannot imagine any other group except NMIXX that would even think about a nursery rhyme scheme as base for a song.
