NM True TV El Camino Family Restaurant
There might be a lock on the front door of this Socorro icon, but no one has used it in years. The restaurant stays open 24/7/365, and holds a place in the hearts of regulars who come here for both the food and the memories.

One of our old eating places when up range for missile shots. When we moved into town the motels filled and so did the bars. Great memories of Sock a Row!
We used to eat there when we worked out of Socorro on the north end of WSMR. We had a Hispanic guy who never wanted to eat Mexican food (he could get that at home, he said) so we would go to El Camino. Those were the days. Someday I need to go back.
I worked there as a waitress and fed my daughter mashed potatoes and green peas when she was a baby..in the same decor..in a corner booth ..on my day off.
It is puh-cawn pie. Pee-can is a truck driver thing. They used (1983 or so) to have huge cinnamon rolls on Sunday mornings. Really good...

"has went down hill?" Apparently so has your grammar.
What a pathetic "interview" sir. I cannot believe that you did not order a couple plates of food and film that with the owner and talking about THE FOOD. This video should have been at least 10 minutes long.
