@@NJ-wb1cz well, now that you mention it, i'm having some trouble with the song Красный Смех by Инструкция По Выживанию. This part is very confusing to me: "И металлический не плачет дом, хотя в нём вешаются столько лет, Непобедимо сострадают все" If you could translate it for me I'd be very very thankful.

@@Posttraumatiqo This can be translated exactly word by word and will make the same amount of sense as in Russian... "And the metal house doesn't cry even though people have been hanging themselves inside for ages. Everyone is unbeatably compassionate [towards someone]" I can guess that house is some allussion to USSR, but I don't know why is it "metal". Непобедимо also alludes to Soviet-style rhetoric, this exact word for "unbeatable" evokes some associations with 9th of May celebrations.. In general I always thought this song is about depression and the contrast between patriotic propaganda and real people with severe depression, in this context maybe it's about empty token compassion from patriotically minded hardcore believers in communism? Mental diseases weren't treated well in USSR, and mostly the general outlook was that people have to power through it, do sports, engage in community, etc - which of course didn't address anything worse than minor mood swings. And people could be forcibly put in mental institutions, where they weren't really treated - but I think that was roughly equal to the state of psychiatry all over the world at the time.. ps. This is just my personal opinion, I didn't google what is concidered the "correct" interpretation among other fans of Егор Летов ) I'll try later, probably all of those songs have a lot of interpretations online..

By the way, your interpretation of this song is pretty close to mine and i knew that, because I read somewhere (correct me if I'm wrong) that Yegor Letov faced that very fate regarding mental institutions. I have to tell you that I plan to upload at least three more songs, but they have been delayed because of my extreme carefulness. One is that very song I asked you about, because of the grammar in those lines. I wanna ask you if you let me add your name in that video as a way of saying thank you and, if that would be your KZread channel name or other. The second thing is that I wanna ask you to help me with a bit of the second song and the whole lyrics of the third one. I would be very grateful and, of course, I'll thank you in my video editing.
