I think the semi-clean slate with the group is really gonna work well for Finlay. And I like this idea that Finlay not only took the position of leader, but also wants to take away what Bullet Club was under Jay and rebuild it.

ここで負けさせたら新BCリーダーの格が早くも落ちてしまうので、さすがに防衛だとは思いました。 ELPはファンの支持も厚いし、ここで1回負けても大丈夫、今後の動向も気になりますね！

BULLET CLUBの良さはリーダーが変わることでチームの雰囲気が変わることだと個人的には思ってます。チームのリーダーを変えるって新日本プロレスではあまり無いことだしどうしてもマンネリ化してしまう。でもBULLET CLUBは常に変化し進化していく。Too Sweetですね！！

The difference between where this group was last year versus this year is pretty staggering. A year ago, you had Jay taking a victory lap after dethroning Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. He used this time to essentially go nuclear on AEW and own his part in the event (Jay beating Kenny in 2018) that set the sequence of events in motion that ultimately led to AEW coming to being. (Trust me, this will hit harder when he gets around to telling this story to an AEW audience. Just wait.) This year, the leader of The T-Shirt Club is just making it known that it's either gold or bodies in this incarnation of the group. Know what last year's group had? Titles, plural. Ace Austin was Division Champ. Karl Anderson was NEVER Openweight Champion. Chase and Fale were tag champs before they were dethroned at Dominion. But Jay's group had gold and oh, forgot Ishimori was Jr. Hwy Champ too. I don't envy the position David finds himself in right now. Cause whereas every other leader went to Stamford and was essentially 'out of sight, out of mind', Jay's in AEW with BC Gold. Which is a massive problem when a large portion of the population still view him as THE GUY who leads Bullet Club. Which in a lot of ways is a testament to the greatness of Jay White. I have heard what David's doing is going back to the true beginning of BC, the problem is whatever Jay is going to end up doing this way will all but assuredly eclipse it. Since the War Dogs attacked Bishamon, it stands to reason we will inevitably see them on AEW as I THINK they may get added to the title match at FD 2. Also, El Phantasmo is right when he says he probably knows more people who wanna kick Finlay's ass than he thinks he does. We may see El P on Wednesday night.

Thank you very much for the balanced , logic and well thought out comment and despite the disagreement I can respect it , frankly I am so fucking sick and tired of people shitting on Finlay , the dude is in a tough position and is doing what needs to be done, on top of that he has been in the role for a few months now , I trust Gedo will see us through and book something good but it needs time to develop. People seriously seem to forget that BC leaders (with exception to AJ) never really started red hot , I still rememeber people shitting on Kenny for not being AJ , people shitting on Jay for not being Kenny , and now people shitting on Finlay for not being Jay....ROFL ! and the BC OGs.....2 of them were returning young boys (Tama and Fale) when BC started....but through story , time and work they all grow into the role. The club makes the man , it was never the man makes the club (with exception to AJ). Finlay was on an amazing run as a face last year and frankly I wouldve loved if he continued that but I believe the departure of Jay put the company in this spot and finlay needed to step up. Finlay proved his worth to the company and If i was Ohbari or Gedo I would also put faith in Finlay as well. Sometimes I feel fans of BC have a real short memory (and im a BC fan myself).

You are right Leonard! But i feel like Jay had a better Club and had more big names with gold. I feel like Finlay's Club is full of nobody 's and Finlay himself doesn't have the gold that Jay had. Jay acomplished a lot until the age of 30, but Finlay just got his first titles. Jay brought security and he kept the Club united. He gave more to the Club than he received. But with Finlay is the opposite. Finlay needs the Club to be relevant. He needs it to shine imo. I am curious what will happen with Bullet Club in the near future..

Only reason they joined is because management just can't be bothered disband the fucking group and push other factions. BC has reached NWO levels of overexposure and needs to die already! All of those "nobodies" you bad mouthed have potential to be huge. Not their fault njpw forced them to join an outdated faction. And what exactly has Jay done in ASW? Nothing!!! All he did was start up another Stupid BC sub group that will fizzle out in a few months. Jay needs to fucking move on from BC. Juice too. Everyone needs to get over themselves and move on from the nwo rip off group already!

ELP got the end of the stick in this war against this version of Bullet Club. He has to reach out to Jay White, ask him to convince Juice Robinson, Chris Bey & Ace Austin, and bring in 2 or 3 more to fight BC.

Nah, this guy has a low level of power, only granted because of Gedo. I would take BC with more attention if they get rid of the deadweight (House of Torture, Chase Owens, David Finlay, and Gedo).

5代目の新生BC、初代を彷彿とさせるダーディな感じがとてもいい。 しかし随分メンバーが増えたな……昔からのメンバーに、HoTに、影は薄いけどクリスベイやエース…… 思想が増えると制御しきれん気もするよなぁ。3代目リーダーはそれで失敗した。

If you can’t bring gold bring bodies. Well House of Torture didn’t hasn’t brought any. So kick them all out.
