Sorry to hear that. I own my Niu Nqi gts sport for 2,5 years now. So far, with about 9000km done, not the slightest problem.

@@svenlabots1869 judging from various fora the experience varies a lot, some have a plethora of issues, some, like yourself, none. There is clearly a quality check issue in Niu.

Thanks for the review, just to check its top speed is 80kph? I think I read 70kph online.

NQi GTS or MQi GT, which one would you pick? I am about a cm taller than you.

Hard decision. My friend bought the first, I own the second. They drive very similarly. Main differences: 1. The NQi GTS has a longer range (130-140 km vs 70-80 km) 2. The MQi GT is larger and much more comfortable to sit on, especially if you are over 1.80m and have long legs - there is also plenty of space for 2 people. Plus it's cheaper. Both are great and super fun to ride.

@@rreece90 I like the idea of the keyless MQi, but not sure if the punch of the NQi 60V is more important. Price is ‘the same’ and not swinging it any one way. Still have to do my CBT as my car license only lets my ride 50cc, not that I have ever done it. Who knows, maybe after bike school I am scared so much I go back onto public transport ;-)

Did you try the range yourself? Other users report way less. Even when the scooter has a 45 km/h limit it has with a 80kg driver a 65 km range with a temperature of 25° Celsius (55km 0° Celsius). So as a motorcycle it sure is way less when commuting than the reported 80km.

hi, i did a calculation based on the kms i did from pick up until delivery of the bike and the % of battery left. it was most of the time riding in fastest mode. but i played with the trottle and the regeneration to have the best range , that is the secret of electric bikes. ride safe
