NiteCore TIP SE Type C Rechargeable Keychain Flashlight Review

Ғылым және технология

NiteCore steps up their game and upgrades the original TIP into a Blazing Beast! 700 Lumen output on your keychain, Very Nice :) The light gives you many options, the direct access to the Low and Turbo modes is one of my favorites. This light is in the premium price category for it's size, can this small powerhouse hold up to the many choices facing the consumer? Let the SE show us how it's done ;)

Features I like about this Flashlight:
Dual OSRAM P8 LEDs for a Seven Hundred Lumen Output.
Thirty Lumen Medium Mode for Eight Hours.
Direct Access to Low and Turbo.
Type C charging port.
Rugged Build, with 66lb. rated attachment point.
One Lumen Low Mode for Fifty Hours.
500mAh Lithium Battery, with a one year standby mode.
Momentary Access to Turbo and Low Modes.
Under an Ounce in Weight.
Remember last Setting.
IP56 Water Resistance.
ATR: Advanced Temperature Regulation.
TIR Optics for a smooth beam.
Includes a Snap On Metal Clip to easily attach it to your keyring.
Belt/Hat Clip.
One Hundred and Eighty Lumen High for One and a Half Hours.
Battery Status/Charging LED indicator.
Features that could be added or improved on:
Include Charging Cable.
A Lockout Feature like the Original.
A High CRI version.
Overall, this is a fantastic flashlight that deserves your attention. The Fenix E03R offers great flexibility, but not the 700 Lumen intensity, and higher capacity that this TIP SE Monster provides.

Weird, I just got this last week for my b-day. Perhaps the best flashlight I've ever owned.

Has anyone pocket carried the TIP SE without the clip and have trouble with it accidentally turning on? The Fenix and TINI 2 are just a little small for my hand.

I stumbled across this video and your Fenix E03r video after seeing them have the same image style as some amazon reviews and turns out same person! Thanks for both the amazon reviews and the videos, they've been very helpful. I've been trying to decide between this NightCore TIP SE vs the Fenix E03r and I think I'll go with the NightCore for the extra power and clip since I sometimes use my keychain light when skating at night or on my car. I had considered one of the older models of TIP previously but now that there's one with USB-C I think it's time to commit :) As a side note I just want to let you know that I don't see the TIP SE on your amazon shop, only the previous TIP models. Also since you mentioned recommendations: consider checking out the Aidier/UltraTac A7 AAA flashlight. It's not a TIP or E03r form factor but I saw that you have some similar AAA lights on your amazon shop. I've been carrying one daily for a couple years now and it's been a great little budget light ($14 on amazon as of this comment) that's held up well being used for things like lighting up the road if I get caught out cycling at night, working on my car, working at my part time job (building/repairing electric bikes + electric scooters + gas scooters), and just general every day use. I'm not sure how it stacks up against the competitors that you own but I can at least attest to its reliability if nothing else.

Definitely going to buy this light! I need a flashlight for work. However, only a few minutes at the time (2/3) for about 15 times a day or so. So I don’t need a big flashlight since its just not practical and unnecessary for me. This is small and i like the interface (not a fan of a all in one button type flashlight) unfortunately I cannot buy it from your affiliate link since they do net ship to the Netherlands.. sorry for that:( thank you for the review! Helped alot.

Maybe they're planning on an updated model for the TIP2 soon that would establish it in a separate bracket again.
