Tip for owners, you have a "hidden" 3rd way to use the pocket clip at the cost of some scratches, the clip fits where the "nitecore P20ix" is printed, gives a much more deep carry

10:58 It is a proprietary battery, but they designed it so you can still charge it in a regular Li-on battery charger that it will fit into

@@johnnybravo4012 Yeah, but only with an adapter. Other nitecore lights like the E4K can be that bright with no proprietary hardware at all. And the E4k is compatible with all high drain protected button top 21700s. The proprietary battery doesn't benefit anything...except for the wallets of the nitecore executives that is.

Nice review, You have come a long way with your reviews. I'm a reviewer too but I have to do my reviews deferment because I'm paralyzed. I'm not doing it for money I'm not monetized and I won't be. I'm a collector and I'm fortunate enough to have 268+ lights that I can share with others and maybe help people decide what to buy.

how they provide a lanyard when there is no place to install in without getting the clip? like what? that makes no sense. And what about the safety of the torch when its dangling around from the lanyard that's attached to the clip?

Found one of these on the side of the road just now. Saw it because the light was on. Found out I can't turn it off with the rear button. Blue light indicator is flashing/on going to charge to see if the problem resolves. If not it's a good backup emergency light

I recently purchased the Nitecore P20IX flashlight and I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The flashlight is extremely bright, with a maximum output of 4000 lumens. It is also very durable and has a solid build quality. The beam is very focused, making it great for long distance visibility. One of the things I really appreciate about the P20IX is the variety of lighting modes it offers. In addition to the high output mode, there are also low, medium, and strobe modes, which allow me to adjust the brightness and flashing frequency to suit my needs. Another great feature of the P20IX is its waterproof design. I have used it in heavy rain and it has held up perfectly, so I have no concerns about using it in wet conditions. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Nitecore P20IX flashlight. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of brightness, durability, and versatility. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a high-quality flashlight.

So what kind of upgrade is Nitecore P20iX compared to the Nitecore E4K? both are 21700 and use the same LED's but the newer P20iX is 400 lumen less. The only "upgrade" I can see is P20iX has a external USB port where the E4K uses a rechargeable battery (which I prefer)

@@TopDog8762 most likely it's the difference in type of beam they each produce and candelas at the certain beam pattern. Lumens aren't a good way to compare 2 flashlights because lumens doesn't tell even half the story of what a flashlight does

Are you sure you meant "30 seconds before STEP-DOWN...."? You don't strike me as the reviwer that could get "lumes ramp down start time' confused with "step down time". If this is correct that's sad. Oddly inline with the Acebeam E70 lights who STEP-Down at around the 30 second mark...giving us Turbo for only a few seconds at 4000 lumens...I think it wa the "Mini" 2nd CON...."flush mounted MODE switch"....deal breaker on a "tactical light" with no side switch. Once you need 2 hands it's no longer "tactical" when mere fractions of a second matter. Literally...extra seconds can be costly fumbling around, eyes off threat, looking for the mode switch... And these lights are't cheap for 4k lumens lights... Polymer holster...could have used Kydex (used in gun holsters)...chafes the "portective finishes" on metal products...should have lined this holder with felt or some kind of durable soft rubber or faom...
