I have this light. I have zero issues with the clip. I EDC it in my front pocket with no problem as it rides plenty low and yet is easy to retrieve. I position the clip on the opposite side of the mode button so that the clip is in the crook of my fingers. That way the mode button is very easy to find with my thumb, even with gloves on. Really good review though.

Great review and fantastic light. Ordered yesterday. It'll sit nicely next to my Fenix PD36R.

Nitecore told me not to charge any battery using the sleeve but thanks for confirming it will charge a 18650 with the sleeve. that pocket clip surely sucks but the holster makes up for it. good review!

Interface seems similar to a Fenix UC35 or PD36R. Handsome looking light. Great review, as always!

@@LiquidRetro I think you'll like them. Their tail cap lights work similar to what describe here. But even their side button only lights work like this, tapping to go through the modes with no instant turbo and no way to go to a lower mode. Probably the biggest challenge to an Olight or Thrunite side button operated light though is that you have to hold to turn on and hold to turn off. I have to "unlearn" what I normally do, when I'm using a Fenix! LOL Still, awesome lights with very cool copper accents on bezels and switches making them quite handsome. But also functional and very capable.

I definitely like the look of the NC beam way better than the TN beam. I will own Fenix over all of them and NC is my 2nd choice.

I find all side buttons hard to find, especially in the dark. Having an even lower profile button on this light is a deal breaker for sure. The pocket clip is useless,but the holster is nice. Good review

Great review..your clip was garbage...damn...i like this light..but the button is hard to find..also i forgot about the TACTICAL SETTING..so its turbo at turn on....i like that....thanks for keeping it 100.

Will a Nitecore 21700i cell work in this unit?

Bro P20 ix or mh12s which one u like the most and .which u recommend?

Nitecore was good until I had a problem.....nuff said! Oh, good video review.

With neutral white it would be just about perfect for my needs. In your opinion is the light pleasing enough? I know you said it's more toward neutral than the blue cool white (blue cool white to me is pretty unpleasant). The last time I bought a quality flashlight was a 4 D-cell Maglite back in the early 90's. So now it's time to pick up a new flashlight that will last me a long time too, minus the weight :)

Ya its cool white but not super blue. If your coming from an alkaline Maglite the performance will be amazing

@@LiquidRetro Thanks for the quick response. I'm coming from exactly that, and my biggest worry was battery leakage from those D-cells. So this will be the one, looks like it's a quality device

is there any issue by using 18650 unprotected cell?

Light looks awesome but it really sucks that you have to use the other button to cycle through the brightness. I want to turn on my flash light either on turbo or high mode and then work my way down if I have to by using the tail cap button. Not the side button. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I feel like holding your flashlight like a remote isn’t ideal and most people don’t hold it like that

You might prefer something more tactical most lights designed for EDC or general use start low and go up

How would you compare the light to the Nitecore p20i?

Like I said I support your channel it doesn't matter if we agree or we disagree I just don't like a flashlight you cannot run on turbo and then it decreases in power why am I paying for it I'm paying for it to shine bright and stay bright not for 15 minutes and then decreases in power

I subscribed your channel but I don't 100% agree with you're saying you're not telling the viewers that it decreases power on high or turbo

What good is it if you can't run it on high power if it continues to run high power automatically drops power there's only one out there made in China that continually run you never lose power or drops power never why would I pay so much money for a flashlight of that caliber

Stepdowns are due to thermal and battery constraints. All modern high power flashlights do it, regardless of where they were made.
