If you love hashem you love Nissim, his art and his message. Black people have been classified and categorized disgracefully by colonialists nations down to the lowest point of slavary and poverty. This is a tough and shameful lesson we've learnt, one of which they have paid the price over generations and are still in many places all over the world. Facts are simple, anywhere and anything, any genre or occupation black people entered, not only they've outperformed the white folks in that domain, rather, in many cases, they have simply revolutionized that area upside down and redefined everything we, humans, knew about. That happened in sports, music, film industry, fashion, and the list goes on… There is no excuse for what the "white man" has done throughout history, there will never be. Os I always have this feeling that Hashem has sent the black nation, as a nation, to those lowest places simply because they are the greatest souls, and so as they rose up, we got the blues, the jazz, R&B, soul, funk, hip-pop, and so on. To be at mount sinai and get the Torah we needed to be slaves for hundreds of years, and so are the great nation of blacks, simply were going through those years of humiliation and discrimination jsut so they can find the ineer greateness and new levels of arts and creativity. @@gilyashar He means that he is a Convert, not a Ger Chassid. "Ger" is the Hebrew word for convert.
