Nissan Titan coming BACK in 2026??

Ойын-сауық

There are signs of change within Nissan! With a new twin turbo engine and 9 speed transmission going into the QX80, who’s to say that the Titan isn’t going to have comeback??

Ford put a turbo in the 88-89 Mustangs and they were in our shop constantly. My friend works at a Toyota dealership and their trucks are always needing the turbo replaced just like the newer Chevy's and Ford's. I vote no to turbo.

I'm happy with my 2023, purchased it last year during the holidays and got a great deal on it. I like the fact that it only has the right amount of technology. I'm not a turbo, cylinder deactivation, auto start-stop fan. It's replacing my 09 frontier that has over 200K trouble free miles. In my opinion, the Titan is the last of the great trucks. Hope they come back in the near future but I'll stick with my 23.

I've been a Chevy guy. I've driven a Z71 and a Texas Edition Chevy for the last 22 years. The first one had 318k miles and the second one has 301k miles. So when looking at a truck this go around I drove the 4 big ones. To get a comparably equipped Chevy it would have cost almost 30k more! After driving this beauty fora few weeks I can say that it's awesome! Love everything about it.... 0% interest was a huge plus... The 100k bumper to bumper was a big thing for me because I drive a lot. One of the best decisions I've made. Oh... My wife and I bought a new Armada about a year ago and it's a refined beast with the V8. Love it as well.

It isn't that simple. EPA wants this crap. That old tundra put out some of the worst NOX emissions of an truck.EPA are worried about NOX emissions. These companies like toyota and nissan like to keep using what works. Same with honda. They have been forced to start changing. Only reason chevy is able to keep their v8 is due to using the cylinder deactivation bs. Half of the time, they're in 4 cylinder mode and letting iff less NOX. Sad part is they are junk lifters. Chevy shouldnt be using that system. It has been failing for 15 yr. We are screwed lol

I REALLY do hope they bring back the Titan! I wish it had more aftermarket support though. I think that is the main reason the Titan doesn't sell as well. It's hard to find lift kits, headlights, Superchargers and other cool stuff for it if at all. It just doesn't have the support even Toyota gets with their Tacoma or Tundra and they both suck by comparison. I do hope they keep the V8 maybe bring it back with more power and add that V6 Twin Turbo to the line up as an other engine choice. I also LOVE the steering shifter and just feels more of a traditional truck compared to the other big 3. This is Nissan's chance to take advantage of the fact the Tundra is doing bad reputation wise as well as the other big 3. Well have to see how the RAM does with that new Hurricane engine reliability but if Nissan can gurry up amd take advantage of the situation they can make a big comeback

Nissan and all the other "truck" makers need to get off the stick and offer cheaper alternative trucks. $50K+ for other than luxury trucks is a non starter for most families - and only the wealthy or business (that can write off the cost) can afford these. For Nissan, I'd like to see them come out with a junior version of the Frontier - and offer it with a 4 cylinder engine - like the earlier hard body models. Our local dealer (Toyota) has a lot full of Tundras ($60 - $70K) that are not selling - wonder why?

I agree with the lack of advertising. They really did not support the truck at all! At this point, I don’t think they would even have to put much R&D into it. They could keep the same body style as the 24 - maybe slight interior update and just mate the new turbo 6 onto the existing 9spd.

I highly doubt they would restart production on a full size truck. I own a 2022 pro-4x and I think it would be great if they do decide to do it, but it doesn’t make sense with how bad they have done in sales. I think they will bring back the X-Terra as some sort of foreign Nissan patrol clone. That would make a lot more sense with the current market. The Titan had a good run, I just rather see this twin turbo v6 in the Frontier, like a beefed up Frontier Warrior (already know it’s not happening).
