Nissan Skyline (BNR32) GT-R / Nissan Fairlady Z (Z32) 300ZX Promo 1989
In 1989, Nissan introduced two new sports automobiles to the world by way of the revolutionary, four wheel drive/four wheel steering, twin turbocharged 2.6 litre Nissan Skyline GT-R, and the four wheel steering, twin turbocharged 3.0 litre Nissan 300ZX. Both cars featured state of the art technology for the time that allowed for optimum performance in practically all conditions. The Z32 was such a performance success for Nissan that it formed the basis for the 'Gentlemens Agreement", that of which lasted for over 15 years in Japan and limited cars to a 300PS (276HP) max output.
To showcase both cars capabilities, a promotional video was made to exemplify their design ideals and engineering goals, with Nissan choosing to utilize the Nurburgring Nordschliefe as its set. Two versions of the video were made - one in Japanese, for the Japanese market, and one in English, for the European/Australian market. George Takei did the voice work for the latter, and its here that we see the full intent of character that each car possessed.

Nissan is a shell of itself. They really made the best mass-produced cars available during the early '90s.
Proud to be an owner of a Z32!
I like R32 but I love Z32....
Thanks for posting this
Z32
honestly think it would be hard to shave more time off that gtr's lap
With the number of times the camera car was passed I'm assuming it was a supra.
