hello, my touchscreen is not reactive anymore at the bottom, is there a way to calibrate this, when i go to factory reset the key 1234567 are working but 8 etc and beneath doesn’t work

Hi, good video I have a question i have a nissan qashqai 2018 tekna. but i don't have carplay or android auto what do you advise me to replace the whole display for the sinosmart android or is there any other options i can try.

Options wise, You can obviously not upgrade, and use your phone . You can also upgrade to the newer Nissan Connects headunit but it can be involving as you'd need to source it and change your centre console usb too. The 3rd option, especially on a Tekna where you want to keep Automatic Parking means a choice between a couple of android headunits. Out of all of those headunits I do recommend this. Overall the best option too I believe!

G'day mate.. greeting from North Africa. Mine is pre installed as an option offered from Nissan local dealer here. Last few weeks problem, the reversing camera is no more working and giving message: no signal video. I suspect the issue is related to the unit software, rather than cabling or connectors, and I'm thinking to pin that reset button hole, but not sure what will happen after that. If you know any workaround to access the camera settings, please share. Thanks!

I'd definately go to the dealer. There are a few units that all look the same but different manufacturers and operationally.

Hey we just bought a second hand 2014 Nissan qashqai and it has this unit just installed for us buying it, but the reverse camera doesn’t work it just says no signal on a black screen, it doesn’t play music when we are connected to the Bluetooth or via aux, it also doesn’t let us use the sat nav. can you offer any advice we are waiting On The car dealership to get back to us.

I recommend waiting for the dealer/ trader tbh. There are a few android units that look similar on the front but could be different units. So not necessarily this model or even from this seller. Otherwise, definately get them to sort it out for you. How did you buy it? Contact them asap.

Hi iceze, I was able to order and install after watching your video however the next and last song button on the steering wheel behave in the opposite manner. The next song button plays the last song and the last song changes the song to next. Did you experience the same and if yes how can I fix it? Any suggestions would be great as I haven't fixed the unit yet so can change the connections if required. Also how to activate tlink and download new themes as it asks for activation code. I AM IN AUSTRALIA SO NOT SURE IF THE UK VERSION OF QASHQAI IS A BIT DIFFERENT.

Go to Settings > Factory > Pin=123456 > Switch steering wheel up and down. Change this to open if closed or vice versa. The themes app is a subscription based app. You get a few basic themes as standard. The cost for subscription is extra and it lasts a year or two each time I think.

There is no echoes or anything. Quality is a bit worse than factory. I will make an update video later

You have both SPDIF and a regular connector for your sub

Hi I want to know about your experience with sinosmart on your qashqai as I have 2016 and want to replace the stereo system. Did your sinosmart works with the dashboard display like getting the notification for turns and speed limits on small screen as with the factory fitted stereo, while navigating.

Unfortunately, you will lose turn by turn directions, that are mirrored on the cluster display.

@@michelcao3274 There is no better canbus. Its really not an issue for me. The old factory satnav was dated and slow. With latest satnav apps on the Sinosmart unit, you can have Lane Guidance showing you correct lanes to be in. These things could never translate to the low resolution mini display.

Did you buy the system from the UK and did it come with everything you need.

I'm in the UK, and bought it from AliExpress (China). Everything is included. Only thing I bought extra was the Fakra connector.

Hi, I am in Australia and have a 2017 Qashqai J11a TI 2 litre petrol, it has 360 cameras and has park assist. Is the unit exact model you are showing suitable for my vehicle Cheers JK

It should be. Just send Sinosmart a picture of your current radio and dash and they can confirm and send you the right kit.

Skip the 2gb and go for 4gb ram models. 4gb/64gb would be my recommendation. Mostly positive. Few glitches here and there.

@iceze thanks for your reply. I am planning to go for 4gb ram with 32 gb model. My qashqai factory head unit already has dab radio. Do I need to buy additional dab module/ reciever or just buying an additional adaptor/ cable would do the job and enable dab on sinosmart...please let me know.

Stretch for the 4gb models I would say.
