Revlimiter: A device that serves as a vague indication as to when you should shift. Normally Ignored. Valve Bounce \ valve float. Normally occurs in an engine overspeed situation where as the valve spring cannot retract fast enough/ doesn't have enough downward pressure to always ensure proper valve seating at high engine speeds. Can cause catastrophic failure. Best Ignored. :D

hisham mohamed what kind of car has nothing to do with it. This is a nissan engine. You could put this in a 1985 f350 dually if you wanted to and it would make no difference on how much theyre stressing the engine besides maybe the extra weight.That is not the original engine look up the rb25det it didnt come in patrols a variation in the RB family yes. Thats why they chose the patrol the motor mounts wouldnt have to be modified to fit this incredibly powerful engine i would love to put this engine into a lowered bmw and do some serious drifting either this or a 2jz.

Rb25det is only good in the high rpms

Turn 10 should use this patrol to make the sound file for fh4

I love this because it's so useless Utility vehicles need torque not revs. But these guys just don't give a fuck. Awesome build, way cooler than stuffing JZ/LS engines in everything. And the sound is orgasmic loool

Exactly, the torque is higher up. You want low end torque if you're going off road. Though I would still take RB patrol and just revlimit it and fly over all the obstacles that you should take slowly

RB25DET fits plug'n'play to the RD28DET (in y60/61 chassis) stock transmision... So it's ought to be AWD.

Did some research, apparently a 25det bolts straight in because the rd28 that comes stock has the same bottom end as the rb, so super easy swap, but that doesnt make the wiring any easier haha

AFAIK, you can put RB25/RB26/RB30 Engine, if the stock engine is RD28. It bolts easily.
