Wow. My local shop informed me that my check engine light was burnt out, and when I asked them to just replace it they said oh you can't just replace a bulb it's a sealed unit you have to buy the whole cluster. What a load. Thank you so much for this video.

I just bought a clean 04 Pathfinder. I want to remove my cluster and replace all the light bulbs with green bulbs. So thank you for your video. Awesome Job.

What size bulbs does a 2004 Nissan pathfinder instrument cluster take? It looks like there are 6 bulbs total. I want to replace with white LED's.

Yes you can. I have a 2002 lx pathfinder. After removing cluster I had to take clips off the plastic and get access to the many other bulbs on the inner side. There are more than the three you see in this video. Not a hard job. Hope this helps!

Im having issues with my fuel gauge, and i have recently changed the fuel sending unit.. Are these clusters interchangeable with various pathfinder versions if i wanted to try another used one? new they are like $800.

Leslie Martin. Hello Martin, I have the same issue with my pathfinder. I have replaced the sending unit twice and I still have the same issue...did you fix the issue by replacing the cluster?...they are very expensive.

Same here, replaced the sending unit but still have the problem. You guys happen to know if just the fuel gauge can be popped out of the cluster and replaced?

Howdy, Very good presentation; however, I have a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder and I almost purchased a sensor but came home and got on my creeper and discovered that it was mfd in May of '92 and has the old conventional cable, etc. Someone at local Nissan dealership said it has both! Any ideas? An 80yr old DAV/GA.

If the instrument panel is malfunctioning how critical is to replace it? Mine is behaving like in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/eGR_rrqQidmYnaw.html Can I wait while sourcing a panel and do it myself or is it a safety issue?
