Misra N Great stuff. Let's hope you only ever see the basic warning lights and not the major ones! Greens are info, yellow ones are things to get sorted, red ones are danger, stop and fix asap.

@Bupe Mhango Oh dear, yes that will be your TPMS light coming on. It can be reset (ive got a video) but no good if you have a puncture.

Hi, when the car turns on there is spanner symbol and numbers. This is then replaced by the odometer. What does the spanner and numbers mean?

This indicates the Car is due for a service. The numbers I think are how many miles overdue the Service is. When the Juke is serviced they should reset the Service indicator for you. If you service it yourself then I'm sure there is a way to clear it, either manually or using an OBD2 Computer.

We have a car icon left dash and another car just behind it. We thought is was when another car is close by but It constantly stays on even with nothing else around it’s a green light

Not sure but it could be the emergency braking system. Green would indicate its active but not faulty, has it been activated with a button on the console maybe?

Don’t have this anymore but I think it rarely comes on. From what I remember it’s some kind of information, maybe airbag turned off or outside temp. Could be if your model is a lower spec model it may not work anyway. Maybe try some Juke forums. Good luck

That sounds a bit vague from Nissan. You have to be very careful working on airbag stuff incase they go off. You need to find out why the light is on, an OBD2 reader might tell you. Once you've determined what is at fault then you can replace it. Good luck.

I was looking into this. After doing some research there are numbers above that symbol (slightly to the right) and I think it indicates how many miles you have in your tank.

That’s always there. It just shows you which side your fuel filler cap is on.

Just wondered what the flashing car symbol at the start is, is it bad, should it always be on even if the car is switched off. I have just purchased a similar car and I am unsure. Thanks

It's the security system and is normal to carry on flashing after the vehicle is locked.

i know this is an old vid but my sons mother drives a juke and just had her batt changed. she now has issues with it showing no fuel but has a full tank and also shows the light for no key present when she has the key. these happen intermittently. any help would be greatly appreciated as i cant find much online. I have the word "Auto" in a circle flashing on and off on the left hand side of the instruments. I can't find what this is indicating and not covered in your video?

It could be a battery issue (check with a multimeter kzread.info/dash/bejne/iKCfu6mCfanQZJs.html) or it could be a Stop Start issue. Maybe an OBD2 reader might show the error fault.

Hi there Lurgs! Currently have an issue with a dashboard light which you haven’t covered - it’s the Auto Stop/Start light which is flashing. There is no reference to this flashing in the manual. Was advised this is first sign that the battery doesn’t have enough power to operate the Stop/Start, and that it could be going flat. The battery did indeed go flat, which I jumped started & everything was fine. A weeks later the light began to flash again (as a note - the stop/start tech doesn’t work after the light flashes), so I actually got the battery replaced. The issue is, it hasn’t taken away the Auto flashing light Wondering if you got any clues how to solve this? Cheers

Sometimes with errors they don't reset even after the battery is removed. You may have to plug in an OBD2 reader to see if you can clear the error. This model I did hasn't got the Stop Start tech on it. Good luck and please subscribe if you can. Cheers.

Alexis French-perkins It's a fuel pump icon showing you that the gauge below is the fuel level. And the other fuel pump icon with an arrow is a genius little addition which is on most modern vehicles. Check out this video which explains why there is an arrow on the fuel pump icon. The one to the top shows your fuel level (underneath, the little bars) and after doing some research the one in the middle, there are numbers above that symbol (slightly to the right) and I think it indicates how many miles you have in your tank.

I have the engine , key and the choke lights are constantly on I just had the car serviced still on Please help

Well, that's just dandy. You covered all 999 warning lights except the one I was puzzled by. While parked with the engine off a red outline of a car flashes. Looks like it may have an arrow through it. At the very first of your video I saw it flash in the lower part of your tachometer but you did not mention it.

Oh yeh now you say that I did notice it right at the very start, it's so quick I'd never noticed it before. I believe it's a car icon with a key icon in it. This is something to do with the immobiliser. It could also mean the battery is getting low in your Nissan Juke key fob. Vid here if you need to change it kzread.info/dash/bejne/fIR1yLGneJC7ZLA.html

@@LurgsHowToGuides Thank you for acknowledging that it is an unclear, puzzling warning light. Yeah, it probably has something to do with the door locks and security which seems un-needed to me. Haven't seen anyone else's Nissan videos mention it either. Have already watched the key fob battery videos. Those are straight forward enough. Thanks again.

Is that not showing your auto stop start is on? Meaning when you get to say a set of traffic lights and put your car in neutral, put your handbrake on and take your feet off the pedals your car automatically turns off to save fuel and once you put your foot on the clutch it starts your engine again?

Yes that’s fine, engine management will check systems when you turn the ignition on. You only need worry when warning lights stay lit

ladyinwaiting Do you mean the icon at 0:36 ? If so then yes this is always displayed, if it gets anywhere near the top then stop the car and switch it off. Probably needs coolant topping up.

Matt Tovey It must be there. When you turn ignition on then it will light up then go out. It will stay on longer in the winter as glow plugs take longer to warm up.
