Excellent. Thanks! Does anyone know if these stepper motors can squeak/squeal? I've got an annoying squeak that very much sounds like it's coming from the instrument cluster. It sounds a lot like an old-school car with a squeaky speedometer/tachometer cable, which of course these don't have. The squeak is also very much in sync with road vibrations, so it seems like suspension or bushings except that it sounds so much like it's coming from the instruments.

Hi, regarding the swap of gauges, do you know if any sort of reprogramming is necessary? I’m faced with replacing mine due to LCD segments in odometer only partially showing. Can I swap another plug and play providing mileage is similar or will I still need further intervention to make it work? I’m seeing contradicting info on this.

@@AnthonyJ350 well, I have replaced it already :) In my country you just need to legalise new cluster with different mileage and they change data in government database so on next MOT all will be legal 😃. In your vid you missed one thing which I came across during my replacement - on the cover there is one little speaker with cable plugged in - don’t pull it before unplugging the connector ;) Overall great video, I’m happy with my new cluster 😁
