Beautiful mountain and lovely video. We have similar markets in the mountains near my hometown back in the Czech Republic but they are 2meters tall and during the winter you barely can see few centimetres of them. We would use ski to go hiking/ ski walking. Have a great day friend 😊 ❤

Wow what a beautiful trail. I'm from the PNW but moved to Southern California a few years ago. Every time I come back I make sure I take hikes like this! It's my happy place. I need to make the drive from Vancouver,BC to Washington sometime to check this place out. Looking forward to more of your videos Jennifer!

Hi again John- yes, micro spikes would be great - who would think you need the, in July? The snow took much longer to melt out this year than most years... maybe 2-3 weeks later than usual. How are things in Ohio?

Hello! The snow on the mountain is year ‘round glaciers... along the trails it generally melts by August! Then, it may start snowing again in October/ November! Have a great day ! 🌻🌻🌻

Great video, Jennifer. That wilderness is so amazing. Pretty crazy that the snow sticks around that deep well into July. Great views as always. Your area is on my list. Glad you mentioned to be careful of the snow bridges and the voids of the river below. Some people don't think of those things sometimes and get themselves in a pickle. Take care and be safe out there.

Good morning! How’s Utah? Yep, when you make it to WA, I really recommend a stop at Mount Rainier! Lots of short and many long hikes! I got my Garmin! I’m getting it set up- I got the mini - it’s so cute! Take care! J L

@@JenniferLupine Things are great here. I will go to Rainier for sure. Awesome you got your Garmin. I thought you were going to get the Explorer plus. Either way, they are still a great tool and gives peace of mind. We will need to exchange Garmin numbers someday for texting capabilities. Probably when we meet up on a trail someday. Hello Jennifer! So much snow still in July ...😳 beautiful views once again and it seems like an easy hike except for the snow ...but does it melt so people can walk the path ? Incredible how the glacier has melted ...in Canada on the Icefield Parkway the Colombia Icefield also melted quiet a bit in the last century...wonder if this will comeback one day ??? Guess not 😢 Thanks for sharing once again and have a great week H&S 👩‍❤️‍👨🇨🇦🌈

Hello! Yes, the snow will melt at some point in the summer, and allow for clear walking on the blacktop, usually by mid-August. Yes, it’s a fairly flat trail, a little up and down. When the flowers are blooming it’s thrilling! (Usually mid- August) 🌻🌻

This is amazing sharing, did you feel cold when getting higher? There’s still snow. That reminded us about the mountains in Alaska last year, really regret did not bring more clothes, really cold at higher altitudes 😓 Stay safe and all the best wishes❤️ greeting from new friend 😊
