1) I will have to buy an variable Nd filter for shooting in bright condition , they come in two ranges , 1-5 and 6-9 ,in very bright light 5 is not enough sometimes and if I buy 6-9 it is darker than I need from 7 onwards , so might have to go for either a bright look or a little dark footage than perfection sometimes, so several people on the net are searching for 3-7 range ... if I don't want to change my camera settings to brighten or darken , the question that just crossed my mind and I wanted you to share your views on it is ..... should I buy 1-5 and darken it later or 5-9 and brighten it later ? which is more preferable ? 2) if I use c log , does that mean it already neutralises the image so 1-5 stops would be more than enough ?

Good Morning sir, sir kya still photography main shutter speed high rakh kar bhi brightness ko control kiya ja sakta tha without nd filter ke ya koi aur technic use ki ja sakti hai

It's good but any filter with fixed filter thread is inconvenient for using in different lenses

Simple tareeke se batae na , light ki intensity Kam karta hai. Ye b batae nahi why variable nd why not ND

Very good and useful lens but cost is 8499 which is only for professional but as a beginner i can't buy it🥺

Varriable ND filters will not perform as a dedicated ND filter there are many reasons other than colour casting issues the most important is polarizing filter in that thing, simply makes the skin looks flat like mask , never recommend VND's for portrait or details close up photography or motion this is why professional film makers always prefer dedicated ND filters in motion picture industry where they demand more perfection than photography on image
