You clearly aren’t up to date with tennis but Ukrainians and Russians don’t handshake due to political issues. They have both agreed on it.

The lack of acknowledgement is the choice of the Ukrainian, not Sabalenka. She knows what to expect and goes along with it. The Ukrainian players' principles regarding playing Russians and Belarusians only extend to a handshake, however. When money and ranking points are on the line, Sabalenka becomes just another tennis player. It is only when the match is over that she stops being a player and becomes a Belarusian.

Ukrainian players should shake hands, they should be professional, sport has nothing to do with war. The players or athletes are ordinary people, they have nothing to do with war matters. I have to turn the volume down to even watch a match, which I've decided I'm not gonna keep doing. I just won't watch her play anymore. Judges should say something. That's ridiculous. Lazy sounds? If you are referring to the noise made by Sabalenka, Azarenka, and Yastremska, such players are a small minority. This means the majority on matches are played by quiet players. Sabalenka gets a lot of support in her matches by people courtside listening live. If tennis is losing sponsorship, it isn't to do with player noise. It is more likely as a result of it generally only being available on subscription services such as Sky in the UK with the exception of Wimbledon.

Was always going to be a mismatch.! Pity that the top seeds get protection in the early rounds by facing lesser opponents. They should face some of the best players from the first round as all the others in the tournament.! Totally a very unfair financial arrangement that benefits those that do not need need it.
