Jesus dude. Most covers are awful, over produced vocals on songs where the original vocals showcased pain in the forefront. But this was so good. Not sure how I got here at 5am but glad I did.

Incredible, bird & woman!

Wow. I don’t go for KZread singer/songwriter types at all but this cover almost gives me goosebumps. As a native of the Pacific Northwest I have always believed this song captures the feeling of the place and this lady’s version does not lose the subtle insidious nature of this song. It must have just been “something in the way” she covered it.

I feel like this song is a window into the soul of Kurt. When he sang it you could almost hear a bit of "desperation" in his voice...being trapped in the cycle of addiction. As someone who used to struggle with addiction I can relate to that feeling of "quiet desperation", as in how am I ever going to get out of this alive! Luckily I found my way out and have been clean and sober over 10 years now. I think Chloe captured that tone in her cover very well.

This is one of the most soulful beautiful sounds I've ever heard. Please cover more songs and don't stop posting. You deserve to be heard by the world and I pray that you will find nothing but success with your breathtaking talent.

Your voice (especially in chorus) reminds me of sirens voices, so pretty and mysterious, I have goosebumbs

Chloe floats on the air and gentely pulls you up into her misty world. She effortlessly holds you there, captivated by all of her powers, her beauty merges with her soothing melodies softly departing from her lips. You stay there with her for those few momments where everything seems perfect and all is blissful and the world outside melts away ~~~~ just for a moment.

One dislike was an accident. The other was Courtney Love because she knows she could never cover this song this well.

I went into this thinking id miss the edge in the voice but this version you did Is just a very soothing/beautiful version that still holds the emotion in it. You absolutely nailed those harmonies , ahah I always struggle a lot to get them right! you will go far!

This song captures the essence of the Pacific Northwest: overcast sky, melancholic, generally dismal, yet this song is comforting and strangely uplifting. Excellent cover!

This would be a awesome soundtrack in a dark drama, like a vampire show or something. It's a really cool sound. Very unique, sort of sultry/sensual but still with a hardcore vibe. I think you should explore this and make more songs like this one! You have some real talent. I think if you kept making songs like this you could be a KZread celeb.

I was a sophomore in High School when this was released. I remember going to Tower Records and waiting until midnight for them to put this album on sale. 100 grunge kids with skateboards living it up in the parking lot. I remember the feeling I had listening to this on the way home for the first time. Fighting over the CD cover with my friends to get a glimpse of the lyrics that were to come and the strange and thrilling melody that was to come over us. Listening to you cover this brought me back to an incredible point in time in my past. Thank you.

Absolutely love this cover and I'm going to say something I've said about a cover in my life, your voice and Kurt's voice singing this song (acoustic) together would be AMAZING! But it would have to be mixed perfectly as to not bring forth either of your voices they need to be intertwined and equal otherwise you'd get the whole forward singer and backup singer feeling I think it would work best with a more duet style if you get what I'm saying. But anyways please keep singing keep your music alive the world deserves to hear your voice it's amazing and pure with that seductive undertone !love it!!
