@@AshArtzMusic I know it sounds arrogant, but I have perfect timing and perfect pitch. But I was never "classically trained". My mom basically forced me to try to learn violin when I was 3(I hated it and smashed my violin to bits within months) and all she would play was symphonic music in the car/house all the time. She was also a violinist in her local, small town symphony(and still is). And then when I was 7 my friend Kenny, who was in 7th grade, would play Metallica, Slayer, Ozzy, King Diamond, etc. for me all the time. I was 7 and singing to Hell Awaits! And then when I was in Middle School my best friend was literally voted best pianist in Dallas(for his age bracket), and we in turn started a band together once we were in high school. I've been in something like 10-15 different bands since then, with some moderate successes(I have 3 songs in a Dragonball Z movie). I think this is why I have perfect pitch and timing, though all of these musical influences seem like..like not just an accident. Maybe it's genetics? Maybe it's a gift from God? But i've just always been surrounded or bombarded with music whether I liked it or not in the first place.

Tyler Harrison It's really easy to tell if a drummer's using a double kick whether you're a drummer or not unless you've never watched a video of Nirvana playing live which you would have if you were a Nirvana fan :P (I'm talking about people in general, not specifically you)

Sounds like a crossover between ballroom dancing drumming and punk rock drumming to me. Everything in the song is so raw but the drums in the background just make you want to dance around to it as if it were a disco song. Really good!!! Drums are also absolutely amazing on Drain you, they sound even more disco on that one.

Sound simply but the bass are so hard to do

Elianmarcelo If you are having trouble with the sliding, just play 0 on the A string and then move to the 4 fret on the E string, not the same but sounds similar, it should be something like A.----1-1--0-------4-4 E-1-1----------4-4

Nah, my sliding just sucks, im a drummer just 6 months ago, and i dont know a lot of techniques, i improve my slide and my bass double strokes a lot since that coment, now i can play this song without problem with my band :)

Dave must have been hitting the snare so hard that some of the tuning lugs came loose.

You can hear the snare drum noticeably detune throughout the song in this track!

@@seth6691 it's true, click play on the video then press 1 on your keyboard, then press 9 and keep alternating betweet 1 and 9 so you can compare the sounds between the beggining and the end of the song, it actually goes down!

If you listen carefully to the overtones on the snare at the start of the song versus the end of the song, you can hear how much it has detuned from being hit so hard.

You can hear the samples andy wallace put on the snare. Cool.

This is awesome, but why is everything panned so weird? The Snare is panned hard right and the Kick hard left. Did something happen to the audio when it was uploaded? Obviously these tracks are not panned that way on the original track.

Listen to the snare. It de-tunes as the take goes - gets lower in pitch and sounds out of tune by the end of the song. Probably a new head that stretches as he's playing. It actually sounds rather awful by the end of the song. Boy can Dave play, though.
