Dont know why my husband left this world 4 month after get married and he used to listen this bhajan . Once he said to tatoo one stanza of this bhajans sloka . He used to say Shiva is one and powerful , shiva does whatever he wants. Used to say "I wanna get Moksha" and i didn't understand what he wanted to say but he left me and all for Shiva . Lord , protect him, protect his soul . I will always pray for you and I am your devotee too!! 😪😪😭

The name of Lord Shiva is so pure, that no matter if you say it in Sanskrit/Prakrit/Western/Whatever accent, it still sounds sweet. That , by the mere thought of which, all negative attributes vanish, like night after the emerging of sun, that name of the great Lord Shiva, how can it possibly not sound sweet? Please ignore the negative remarks. You are praying to Him from your heart, he will listen. That's all.

What exactly is consciousness - There is no clear answer. Can it exist without Mind - since we can not define what do we exactly mean by 'consciousness' we can not attach it to anything neither mind as a whole nor the ways the parts of our body experience things, like Oxytocin - The love hormone also breeds jealousy or various neurotransmitters who make us experience everything like fear, danger, pain etc. Intellect & power of reasoning is essential for us to understand the world around us in Scientific way but that's not the end all & be all otherwise we would not be using tautological methods like Maths to create proofs for Scientific observations but we do because we know the aspects of nature that can be proven using these methods but we also know that we have to work with a lot of assumptions to move our understanding further. The real question is - Are most humans willing to change their beliefs in the presence of contrary facts & that's where the real difference lies - A seeker would always be willing to new ideas & opinions while most people would not like to be challenged since they are essentially busy with scavenging resources for their survival. To answer your 2nd question we again have to go back to the question i asked - What exactly is consciousness ? Till we don't have an exact answer for it we can only keep seeking further in all the ways that helps us in calming down & tackle these challenges head on using all our tools like Science, tautology, philosophy etc. The songs simple message is to be humble & don't attach yourself to the worldly pleasures, be a seeker & enjoy the pleasures of being a seeker.

Nirvana Shatakam A Poem By Aadi Shankaracharya मनो बुद्ध्यहंकारचित्तानि नाहम् न च श्रोत्र जिह्वे न च घ्राण नेत्रे न च व्योम भूमिर् न तेजो न वायु: चिदानन्द रूप: शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥१॥ मैं मन नहीं हूँ, न बुद्धि ही, न अहंकार हूँ, न अन्तःप्रेरित वृत्ति; मैं श्रवण, जिह्वा, नयन या नासिका सम पंच इन्द्रिय कुछ नहीं हूँ पंच तत्वों सम नहीं हूँ (न हूँ आकाश, न पृथ्वी, न अग्नि-वायु हूँ) वस्तुतः मैं चिर आनन्द हूँ, चिन्मय रूप शिव हूँ, शिव हूँ। न च प्राण संज्ञो न वै पञ्चवायु: न वा सप्तधातुर् न वा पञ्चकोश: न वाक्पाणिपादौ न चोपस्थपायू चिदानन्द रूप: शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥२॥ मैं नहीं हूँ प्राण संज्ञा मुख्यतः न हूँ मैं पंच-प्राण1 स्वरूप ही, सप्त धातु2 और पंचकोश3 भी नहीं हूँ, और न माध्यम हूँ निष्कासन, प्रजनन, सुगति, संग्रहण और वचन का4; वस्तुतः मैं चिर आनन्द हूँ, चिन्मय रूप शिव हूँ, शिव हूँ। न मे द्वेष रागौ न मे लोभ मोहौ मदो नैव मे नैव मात्सर्य भाव: न धर्मो न चार्थो न कामो ना मोक्ष: चिदानन्द रूप: शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥३॥ न मुझमें द्वेष है, न राग है, न लोभ है, न मोह, न मुझमें अहंकार है, न ईर्ष्या की भावना न मुझमें धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष ही हैं, वस्तुतः मैं चिर आनन्द हूँ, चिन्मय रूप शिव हूँ, शिव हूँ। न पुण्यं न पापं न सौख्यं न दु:खम् न मन्त्रो न तीर्थं न वेदा: न यज्ञा: अहं भोजनं नैव भोज्यं न भोक्ता चिदानन्द रूप: शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥४॥ न मुझमें पुण्य है न पाप है, न मैं सुख-दुख की भावना से युक्त ही हूँ मन्त्र और तीर्थ भी नहीं, वेद और यज्ञ भी नहीं मैं त्रिसंयुज (भोजन, भोज्य, भोक्ता) भी नहीं हूँ वस्तुतः मैं चिर आनन्द हूँ, चिन्मय रूप शिव हूँ, शिव हूँ। न मृत्युर् न शंका न मे जातिभेद: पिता नैव मे नैव माता न जन्म न बन्धुर् न मित्रं गुरुर्नैव शिष्य: चिदानन्द रूप: शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥५॥ न मुझे मृत्य-भय है (मृत्यु भी कैसी?), न स्व-प्रति संदेह, न भेद जाति का न मेरा कोई पिता है, न माता और न लिया ही है मैंने कोई जन्म कोई बन्धु भी नहीं, न मित्र कोई और न कोई गुरु या शिष्य ही वस्तुतः मैं चिर आनन्द हूँ, चिन्मय रूप शिव हूँ, शिव हूँ। अहं निर्विकल्पॊ निराकार रूपॊ विभुत्वाच्च सर्वत्र सर्वेन्द्रियाणाम् न चासंगतं नैव मुक्तिर् न मेय: चिदानन्द रूप: शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥६॥ मैं हूँ संदेह रहित निर्विकल्प, आकार रहित हूँ सर्वव्याप्त, सर्वभूत, समस्त इन्द्रिय-व्याप्त स्थित हूँ न मुझमें मुक्ति है न बंधन; सब कहीं, सब कुछ, सभी क्षण साम्य स्थित वस्तुतः मैं चिर आनन्द हूँ, चिन्मय रूप शिव हूँ, शिव हूँ। आचार्य शंकर रचित निर्वाण षटकम्‌ | 🙏......🧘‍♂️

Thanks Karthik. But Smita herself, in another video, does treat Shiva as a God rather than as the universal principle.

Because authors of these texts treated & perceived the Shiva or other Gods in myriad of ways in their own distinct beliefs. One does not have to follow or believe them literally but rather as a probability, i hope this cleared the confusion for you.
