Being in a band myself, the way he is acting has nothing to do with if people are watching. Art is created through feeling. If he stands there like a statue and sings his song, and plays his guitar, then he would be Blink 182. He isnt "acting". The way he moves, looks, sounds, it is all part of the song. Without it? Commercial garbage.

No, it is Dale Crover. He's known for being the drummer from Melvins but he was briefly part of Nivana and recorded drums on three of the songs on Bleach.

Those were the best years. People were still connected to the present, without the obsession to tell others how happy they are. Today Nirvana would remain in their home garage.

If nirvana were young today they would still accomplish the same thing. If nevermind dropped now it would have the same impact it would destroy popular music as we know it. Nevermind d isn't my favorite but it would destroy everything coming out now. Nirvana is timeless and extremely bold playing many different styles of rock music. It won't age. Even till this day entertainers from all different genres are trying to be like kurt and steal his image. That's why you got rappers wearing old grandma sweaters with women's sunglasses.

If Kurdt were alive he’d most likely be an acoustic singer/songwriter. People grow and evolve. Dave would be where he is now, and so would Krist in his new bands (e.g., 3rd Secret). Granted I loved them as a teenager and saw them live, but today’s fans lack the experience and can only live it via social media.

Who cares if someone is all fancy smancy technically good at the guitar. Even if you are great at it 'technically'..... if the sounds doesn't come out and hit you in the soul, it means SHIT ALL. Nothing compares to Nirvana, even now. If there were other artists copying the Nirvana style at the time, they failed. Soundgarden and the whole "grunge" scene capitalized on the Seattle scene, but none of those bands sounded like Nirvana.

Even though the song is so different from teen spirit, this video is that video's precursor,: the smoke machine, Kurt's hair and demeanor, the slow motion, the cinematic focus on the drums, and the overall aesthetic. As amateurish as this video is, it is a testament to how solid their vision was, even at this early stage. Also Paper Cuts is a SICK song, fucking haunting.

They each had their own unique sound and style but the bridge of this has always given me AIC vibes. I would've LOVED to have been in RadioShack on this day..such a close and personal gig😍 (if they were really playing..Krist's bass is a toy😆)

If you’re from western Wa., like me, you’d know this heavy grunge sound and slow pace is like walking through a muddy sludge trail during the 8 month perpetual rain season. Its like the endless heavy fog and rain and mud. You don’t write this song in Arizona or the tropics.

I had never seen this video until recent and I love it!

One of my favorites and IMO their Nirvana’s darkest, heaviest song. I love Dale Crover so much, he’s such a badass! Cannot wait to see the Melvins again in a few months.

First got this album at 17 in 2003, i thought it was ok, but after many years i do believe it's brilliant and ahead of its time

Nirvana’s great but you should probably explore some more things if you’re in a Nirvana hole like I’m assuming you are. Check out King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

Cool “music video” for the most abrasive yet strangely catchy song on “Bleach”. Definitely one of the top five songs on that album. BTW, whoever the sound engineer or producer was who recorded this song, they should have won an award for “Most Gloriously Grungy Recording of the Year”.
