I had the chance. As a gift for my 14th birthday, my Dad brought me to see them live. It was the Grenoble one (France) for the In Utero Tour (it is on YT BTW). More accurately, it was on February 1994 the 18th. Less than two months before this doomed early April day which made me cry a lot. For the teenager I was, Kurt Cobain was the great brother I never had. I couldn't believe it, " I saw them not even two months ago! " I thought this day! I cried so much and couldn't listen to Nirvana without crying for months, even years, after that. I will never thank my Dad ( I lost him a few months ago BTW ) enough for what remains nowadays the best birthday gift I ever had! Seeing (and listening OC) Nirvana on tour with him is my best memory ever. RIP Kurt. RIP Dad. And, both of you, thank you.

I’m glad I was alive while the music scene in the 90’s was changing the society! Good memories! Nirvana Made music accessible to the broke kids, didn’t make us feel poor when our parents shopped at Salvation Army, didn’t feel bad about only having mac & cheese for dinner, it wasn’t so bad that our toys weren’t always new. It wasn’t just music, it was a connection with people just like us.
