Look at all of Nipsey's interviews. Eye contact with the interviewer was constant. He was always present, always thinking, always learning, always curious. A next-level man, and a next-level loss for us.

I KNEW SOMEBODY ELSE WOULD CATCH THAT! IT'S A SHAME THOUGH BECAUSE THERE'S AN UNACCOUNTED FOR AMOUNT OF PEOPLE IN JAIL OR IN PRISON, SERVING A LIFE SENTENCE BECAUSE OF BEING CAUGHT COMMITTING CRIMES ON CAMERA OR VIDEO FOOTAGE BUT, FOR SOME REASON WHEN A POLITICAL LEADER IS MURDERED, AND AT TIMES MURDERED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT DEPENDING ON HOW DESPERATE THE SITUATION IS TO REMOVE AN INDIVIDUAL FROM EARTH BECAUSE OF BEING A THREAT FOR EXPOSURE; WHICH I ALSO HAVE TO INCLUDE MURDERED IN FRONT OF THESE SAME CAMERA'S WHICH LANDED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN PRISON FOR LIFE, PEOPLE STILL CAN'T GET JUSTICE. WHAT THAT BASICALLY BOILS DOWN TO WITH COMMON SENSE IS THAT, MORE THAN LIKELY THERE'S AN INVOLVEMENT OF INDIVIDUALS/PEOPLE, IN MY OPINION; WHO WE PAY TAXES TO FOR POLITICAL REASONS, COULD BE THE SAME ORGANIZATION THAT MURDERS FOR THE PERSEVERANCE OF CONTROL AND POWER. I'VE NEVER SEEN AN ORGANIZATION IN MY LIFE WITH A 93% CONVICTION RATE; DAMN!! THAT SHOULD TELL YOU, WHAT IF THAT SAME 93% CONVICTION RATE WAS USED FOR INJUSTICE? THAT'S THE TRUE DEFINITION OF A SO CALLED "COLD CASE". JUST DO A RESEARCH ON AMERICAN/AFRICAN AMERICAN/AFRICAN AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS LEADERS HISTORY, AND FIND THE COMMON FATE OF EACH PERSON. GOD BLESS .

The universe has unexplained energy. Did not know this artist until his murder but it has bothered me ever since. He has good music & I am not a rap fan. Condolences to family & friends. Hussle explained who killed him - the crips. Not about the money - it’s the pecking order.

I'm so glad these interviews will exist forever in whatever flow the internet provides even to future generations. He did a lot and said so much that will be important for everyone to listen to, all generations because he is one of a kind in this timeline we're living in. And he did what he talked about so though dying the way he did, it did not kill his vision and maybe, in some odd way, the murderer caused the revolution he started to take on even more social significance. Imagine his DNA came to America and did make a huge difference at Crenshaw and Slauson Avenue. An area I spent a lot of time walking around for business and to pick up our daughter sometimes from her MTA bus line, the 210 daily for a couple of years. I even did IT work for a company that had a storefront in the area so I feel the loss but glad he did some good that won't soon be forgotten. The digital quality and his words will live longer than the POS who shot him out of jealousy. Like a modern day of an MLK or Malcolm speaking so articulately as a grown man who grew up in the hood. Not smoking weed is why he achieved his success and he mentions this in the interview, though many would think all like him have to do that to become successful. He loved his life, his family and his enterprise so "Victory Lap" is epic in light of the sad departure from life. He lives in everyone who watches his interviews and listens to his music. For all time, hopefully. Listen to him talk about life on the streets and learn the reality of every urban community in American society. And how we change things if we desire change for a people, community and maybe world. He touched a global audience who is also watching his videos and much respect to this grown man who went to his root and came back changed and changed things in his community. That's all I have to say here. Gangs are not what most think they are, but news and media has put a stigma rather than see them as human beings. One race on this planet...human. All of us. But the narrative they put on mass media is for a reason and purpose. And it's not to change things, they make movies that promote violence but if you talk to them, one on one, they all do have aspirations and dreams to be better but the system itself is the problem. Police too, find themselves out of work if a movement comes along and no one wants to get into criminal activities and become savvy on business because slinging drugs is a very small business opportunity most think is normal, but the hood doesn't even bring the drugs into our communities. So something else needs to be planted so people know there are choices we can make, just like Nipsey did and he was very intelligent and saavy at translating the message, just like Kendrick here in Compton, CA and many others too are messengers. Rap is coded language that only those who live it understand. The consumers buy the albums and that's so their friends think they're cool just because they play it, but here, we listen and understand the deeper meanings. I was here when NWA was selling mix tapes at the former Compton Swap Meet before it became a Walmart. And it was a war between police and the community and we didn't bring crack cocaine into the mix. Others did and it destroyed so many lives with bullets and death and fear. Weed in the hood is doing the same thing, only they legalized it but kept those who got charged with possession and sales in communities behind bars. Those who grow it for sale get a business license and major profits now. The world is upside down and backwards, y'all. Know this...and take notes. If black people refused to buy and use weed in mass....they'd freak the f*** out when these local dispensaries would have to shut down like the Montgomery Bus system did when Rosa decided she wasn't going to get up anymore from that bus seat. And they went nearly bankrupt because they underestimated the number of Black folks who kept them in the black literally. Now Blacks drive the damn bus...feel me? Power of the dollar is awesome, and Nipsey read a lot because of his GF giving him books to read and it changed the game real fast. Powers that be, they don't like when that happens, do they? Education and self education can be as powerful as bullets in a Glock, my people. More so, actually. Imagine crytocurrency in the hood killing the American Banking system, because so called poor buy a lot of ish from retailers. Trillions of dollars annually. They could if numbers were accurate almost buy Microsoft for cash money if all pooled together but the system wants us divided so we won't duplicate his vision en mass. Deep stuff, for a brother who knows about the Spook who Sat By the Door...didn't know he knew that author or his story made into a movie that's here on KZread. Knowledge is powerful if everyone gets woke. He woke up a community and it should stay woke because some want his dream dead forever. Didn't work out that way, fortunately because you're watching the interview too and you've read this far. Good for you...now do your thing and think about Nipsey while planning your future. Listen to his tracks too for inspiration. The Last Poets in the 60's had this record, "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" back when. I think it's going to be on the internet. This thing we're on right now, people. You can waste time online or build an movement that none can stop because DARPA created this a long time ago to withstand even nuclear annihilation or MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction of the old Cold War era. Think, plan, then do a business plan. That's the new revolution that can make his life have further meaning for the next generation yet to be born. Peace.
