This was a fun build to be in stream with while you were making. Great to see one that's not singular mastery

Cheers for the Video - lvl 180 at the min and dont have everything that you do in the video but have most or lower lvl versions of what you do and had to mid/max my builds and temper a few to get it at a sweet spot. Without you’re video I dont think I would have made a decent armour and attack set. Thanks again

I seriously hope there’s a Nioh 3, I will continue to play these games as long as they keep coming out. Hopefully they update the game engine and graphics for the next one tho Team Ninja has something special here and I think they should keep cranking these out until more souls fans and samurai/ninja rpg fans start catching onto its awesome combat system

the game reminds of onimusha. 1st game you play as a human and 2nd game you play as half yokai. you beat demons and take souls to level. some bosses are also hit like a truck if not careful.

I watched both the stream vods of you making this build and was just in disbelief the whole time, since I basically went through an identical process a few days ago. Tried Kingo, tried Isanagami with water, ended up with Yatagarasu + Master Swordsman + Tengen. In the end my build ended up being like 90% the same as you did. I found myself going "yeah, that's exactly what I thought too!" constantly throughout the stream vods. Makes me feel good to see that my own buildcrafting has evolved to a level where my logic flows in a similar way to yours. I ended up going lightning to slow down enemies for easier Iai Quickdraw hits. You've taught me a ton about Nioh 2 and can't wait for more videos and streams, keep up the good work!

Quick question, how did you manage to have Iai QuickDraw on all of the sets , I tried Tempering, it didn’t work, I tried to farm revenants I had no luck to find a piece with inherentable Iai QuickDraw, any advice will be helpful.

Build looks great i was following on the livestream i roll with the gallant + master swordsman and use night rain as my main active instead of quickdraw for me it gets off faster and seems to do more cumulative damage because of the notes i got from your ninja build

Thanks for this vid. I took inspiration from it and crafted an Atagi Sadamune with the same effects you got. But instead of this swordsman set, I am going with Justice Ministry set which gives 9% melee damage for 5 pcs with Yasakani, which is higher than the attack and defense + 50 you get with your set. Added Atagi for the 100 life bonus and a great kanemitsu as 2nd weapon for Onmyo austerity.

Best channel ever! What is that chest piece refashioned with? I went through all the sets and couldn't find it. Outstanding work with the builds Cowboy, many thanks!

A handy idea for the helmet buff would be to quick slot some yokai water pots to toss if you ever want to get that buff going right before a fight and you dont have a yokai pool available. Also, I have to go farm that lesser umi bozu soul core so I'm running the water Oni Bi for now. The anima bonus on elemental attack its giving me on top of it helping proc saturation (not as good as the Umi water shot though) is pretty bananas. Did you happen to give the oni bi a try first so I can get some advice on which you think is better in the long run between the two?

I wonder how well this build holds up to this day, I'm gonna get the game so I'm looking for fun builds to chase

Haven't been able to follow along with this game so I was wondering; Now that you have had a chance to really play the game, Do you have a favorite weapon pairing?

I prefer master swordsman with 99 heart + genmei and 99 magic. Yatagarasa doesn’t bring enough to the table. Using Genmei instead and maxing heart and magic (and using the kusa that reduces yokai ability cooldown) makes you a god.

Is there an updated one for the new DLC? I haven't figured what weapon I wanna use between sword and dual sword yet. But can't decide because there's not enough updated new builds.

i thought it was christmas when i looked at my box and seen a shitload of warrior of the east gear...... then i realised i needed warrior of the west.

Is there a particular reason why Cowboy always uses Ryomen as an example boss? Like does it have crazy defenses, or is it the fact that there's no "back" to it?

What are the odds of the iai quickdraw inheritables? Because I have spent hours just forging and reloading saves trying to get it to no luck. And trying to farm revenants isn't helping either cause i go to what people claim are popular revenant spots and I am lucky If I find 1 revenant throughout the entire mission let alone multiple with useful gear.

For any questions about inheritables: You can join the Nioh 2 discord and discuss it with people and they should have what you need, you also need max familiarity on the piece you are transferring the Inheritables from.

Would I be sacrificing a lot of atck if I switch helmet with yataheadband and second weapon for dual sword I got all the perks just not the helm

I really want to get this game but I'm kind of intimidated a bit to be honest. And I remember when nioh first game out grabbing it and getting stuck nit very far in. But so much of this seems like something I'd be into.

Your best bet in to Google the nioh 2 sub redit/discourd channels to trade. Or to farm revenants.

Anychance you doing a ren hyabusa build? With abilitys?

Finding someone to drop a revenant with Iai Damage inheritable is a nightmare >_>

Dark omen mission is filled with lai quickdraw inheritable I managed to get 20+ of it cuz I was looking for orange attack inheritable and got it in the end..

Iai Quickdraw is one of the most common skill inheritables you can get off revanants. I have a lot of luck with revanants at the start of The Warrior in Dawn region (ng+ obviously). Look for graves with armor missing.

How do u get attack on ur gear i try to use embercite and nothing do u just craft the hell out of the gear and pray for rng?

I'm on last region and there's no inheritables on any piece of armour only weapons is there a reason for this or do I have to wait till new game for inheritables on armour pieces?

so basically Iai Build... that still sucks against Yokai but is strong against Human... just like in Nioh 1

This was my build in nioh but it went under demon king

I got 27,804k damage against William with my sword build. Well it’s a Dual sword and sword build with about the same damage. I’m not saying my build is the best or the strongest but I think my highest single hit was 28,000 something ...at least that’s what the game is telling me. Unfortunately I don’t know when that happened and don’t have a video of that one:/ got the William one though it’s on my channel. Great videos though you have a ton of good builds it seems. I unfortunately get stuck trying to find the most damage out of one build for months lol.. keep up the good work man

why do you have the 5piece bonus on the swordman‘s set? you only have 4 equipped or am I missing something?

I did, it conflicts with the helm buff though which would mean taking a random helm or going poison instead.

I dont know whats up with my game but i have life drain melee attack 22 (20 at 0 familiarity). Melee ki damage 8.9% base and 11.9% max fam. And there are couple other differences too. Maybe europe release of the game is a bit different?

He is using a magic spell that makes amatria show up whenever he gets a hit on an enemy. That is where its coming from
