NIO is the future, I am impressed with Gen 3 & 4 Battery Swap stations and can't wait to see what Gen 5 & 6 bring! NIO being able to feed energy back to the grid is a game changer. I see you are new on KZread I subbed, may I suggest not using that style of music.

Hi, it’s for the healthcare of the batteries stored inside. Charging batteries over 80% would be potential hazardous to chemicals inside and slow current due to physical limits, not worth it. I only got the 100% once probably was a bug in the station that time😂

Hi, Thanks for the video. I am a bit worried that the swapping stations themselves will kill the Nio. 21 batteries in every station means 21 unsold vehicles. It is way too expensive, and with charging/battery innovations it will neither bring any value to the customers nor to the company. Actually, I like the idea of using the stations as fast chargers, when the power goes down and you can use the energy from stored batteries. :)

Hi, thank you for bring up the doubt. Technically customers are not purchasing the individual batteries, yet the "subscription" of using all batteries from NIO battery pool, this will deliver the risk of battery (most fragile and most expensive part of an EV) from customers to the car manufactuers. Meanwhile there are protocols between car manufactuer and battery providers so that jointly they can monitor, maintain, renovate and demolish the batteries. Namely, in a longer term customers are always enjoying the best battery in the market without bearing the risk which will be beared evenly among NIO and battery providers. I hope I've explained you well, if you are interested, I can make an exclusive video talking about this content in extention.

Thanks for your response. I have some NIO stocks and unfortunately it does not look good. If you present some kind of business case, which would end up with positive margins, that would be than awesome to watch and understand. With CATL’s latest batteries the charging last 10 min to get 400km range. That could be another killer for swapping stations. Unless they bring up some additional functionalities of those stations like transportable chargers to utilise the batteries laying there waiting for their customers. I like Nio, please do not get me wrong.

@@jaroslavsplichal97 Hi, I'm not a professional regarding the stock market, I do believe the main reason was because the financial deficit over these years even the gross margin has gone positive and over 10% yet the R&D has been burning too much money. I'd suggest you to observe and hold at least till the end of this year, since starting Sep they will be promoting the sub-brand ONVO and I'm confident that the sales could go burst. Overall NIO cars are still a bit pricy. Regarding the ultra fast charging, there are many prerequisites to accomplish that rapid speed which they don't usualy talk. I'll share another video regarding this theme later this month.

@jaroslavsplichal97 Just think of the amount of stress the battery can have over time using a fast charge in 10 mins. Don’t you think that will not shorten the life of the battery inside your car that doesn’t have the technology of easy replacing it and the expensive amount of having your battery change.

Hi, Thanks for the comment. No, I am not worried. Batteries have a great BMS. They also cooling and warming system to keep them in good shape and protect them too. Please look at the stats. Unfortunately, I do not see the future in battery swaps, and I am affraid it will kill Nio, if they do not come with some other more suitable business case.
