Nintendogs: Regional Packaging Differences

Ойындар

I just came across a collector's gem at some local GameStop stores, and bought a copy to see what was different. This video covers the major things.
Something I thought to check after turning the camera off was the numbers on the back. My US copy says ADCE200411 where the MDE version says ADCE310081. I'm not sure if the numbers mean anything - they could be some form of serial number, or more likely indicative of the "print" date... which would seem to agree with my theory that the MDE copies were made after the US ones.
If anyone has anything to add, feel free to comment! I'd love to hear from some residents of those countries, let me know if you see any other specially marked Nintendo software - my contact in Singapore said all of them were identical to the USA versions except Nintendogs (which I show here)

A bit late but MDE is most likely abbreviation for the The Middle East Region. Nintendo essentially took the North American localization of these 3ds games and rerelease them in that region. The manuals aren't going to be glossy probably just to keep the cost of production down. The middle east also tended to have a lot of piracy/bootleg issues during the DS and GBA era and the label on the box art probably helped people determine what products were being officially sold by Nintendo / trusted retailers. Also for European games, the colors on the end of the box art are used to determine the region as well as to indicate what languages are available on the cartridge. (also occasionally determining whether they were published by nintendo or third parties) or at least based on how i'm currently understanding it. Ex: Green = United Kingdom - English, Red-Orange = France - French - Published by Nintendo, Pink? = France - French - Publish by third parties. Navy Blue = Germany - German - Nintendo of Europe Purple = Europe (multilanguage) might need to check to see if that's correct but that's the basic idea for them.

Ray Akpanson I'm not really sure what your question is. But some games are buggy, if you're saying there was a problem with the software after your online match, you should be able to just turn your 3DS off, and try it again.
