If you’re a little surprised by the narrow customization options you have at the beginning of the game, you’re not alone. However, the good news is that you can unlock items to add to these, which means you’ll be able to make your character way more unique to you. You will need to work for it though and there’s also the time side of things where more items will be added after the launch. You can view this cynically, or you can just enjoy the fun of being able to work on unlocking new items on a regular basis. It means that the game has way more long-term appeal and you’ll be able to get new things to customize your character for months to come.

Because it’s about money, Nintendo stupidly made it online only so you have to pay for online access.
So you can’t get items without a Nintendo membership that’s stupid
I just got Switch sports and I love it! Quick question tho, after the week ends, do the items never come back? I’m big on completing inventories in games, and I really hope that I’ll have another chance to get all the items…

I cant earn more items. It said I need a online membership to get more than 2 a week. But I do have one...any solutions?

Which button do u click to collect the items I'm clicking all the buttons but none of them seem to work.
I don't have the button with the gift box on it
I was really pissed that i didn't get thr first one
I can't seem to find answer anywhere with google but does anyone know do you get to keep the unlocked items when you cancel your membership? Those items are not worth it to take a membership if they get locked up again when I don't need the membership....

I unlocked all of the items in the first two collections. After I did, that the game added a new item page after I played soccer/football called "Soccer Collection." So, the first two item pages are not the only ones you can unlock right now.
you don't need a Nintendo switch online subscription, but you will only be paired with bots, also, you need an internet connection in both cases 😞

Are you kidding me?! I have to *play globally* to unlock items I'm not saying I don't have Switch Online but I hardly win online
