@@MapleSyrupGamingandTech just so you know pending on how your setup is for the your game console on the TV that close the actual doc is to you that cable for the headset probably won't matter like with my setup it won't matter at all because I don't really play that me motion control game so I don't have to have to switch right in front of my TV technically speaking mice which is closer to me than the TV

Thanks for including actual voice recording from the headset's microphone. A lot of other "reviewers" only do a voice over without including the actual mic test from the headset mic combo they are reviewing.

Spot on review. I just bought one. Ear cups don’t encompass the whole ear. It’s like they’re made to fit kids ears. And yes, the cable is way too short. The company just rebranded the headset for switch without knowing that the joy cons or pro controller do not have audio pass through. That being said, they are great for my kid’s zoom classes. It has good sound reproduction and mic picks up your voice really well.

I honestly don't see myself playing many docked/console games with a headset, Bluetooth or not, so I think this headset gets the job done for handheld gaming and if you really want to play docked, just get an extension cord or Bluetooth.

Thanks for the review! Liked and subbed to help out. Do you know if these need a Y-splitter/unifier to work with PC? My PC has separate headphone and microphone ports on the front. I'm not sure if both lines of audio can be transmitted through one of those ports, or if I need a Y-splitter/unifier to plug into both ports at the same time for the headphones and microphone to both work.

Has anyone tried using this headset with another console? I love playstation but the black or white headsets are honestly getting boring and want these because of they decent and I love the colors.

Will this work with new 2023 Switch?

In dont see why such focus on short cable as cost saving ... . IMO short cable is super useful when using in portable mode ... as for docked to large TV - with large tv you usually get and want to use its own sound system.

I will let you know soon I order about 10 budget wireless options and gonna test them then make a video with my favorites, not sure how cheap the good ones will be but they are all under $100 with at least 3-4 under $50

Getting this for Christmas and a a brand new controller is there anything I should worry about since you shave ot for a longer time

Hello, would anyone happen to know if this headset is compatible with PC? Whenever I try to talk into the mic, it doesn't seem to be picking up any sound. So now l'm not sure if its my computer trippin' or the headset itself not being compatible. Relatively new to using headsets so this may just be on me.

This headset has a mic and headset combined into 1 3.5 mm pin most computer have a seperate mic from headset input not a combined jack. If that is the case you need a splitter to seprate the mic from the speakers its not expensive generally around $5

Hi I play monster hunter on the ps4 and the only reason I got a Nintendo switch lite is for the new monster hunter rise. So, getting to the point I don’t want to pay extra accessories or use the Nintendo online app on my phone to chat with other players. Any headset should work for MHR as far as listening goes. There's no mic support in game.

Make sure you are turning the base of the microphone not just pulling it forward if you look at the base of the microphone there is a notch indicating on or off position it can be tight the first few times

Are you rotating the base of the mic or just pulling it down? There is a small dot on the headphone and it has to be facing the one on microphone, it can be stiff at first.

Are you using it with a switch or another device? Also when you rotate the mic down are you sure the base clicks into the mic open position it can be pretty tight the first time you try to rotate it down

On the switch And I did rotate the mic down until it clicked but no sound on open mic

The sound in one ear went out after two days. :(

DONT BUY IT. Bouth it for my daughter en already broken. The plastic cracks on the retracting part of the earphone en the mic stopped working after 2 months. We bought 3 en all of them broke. waste of money iff you buy for a child.

As long as your PC has a unified mic+speaker out it will work if it doesn't and you have a seperate mic from speaker jack you will need a splitter

You just turn the knob on the back of the blue side upwards to make it work lol and just talk into your mic on Fortnite with open mic on

Make sure your rotating the base of the mic forward it can be pretty tight the first times you do it. There is a notch on the base it has to rotate to the on position. If it doesn't work you might have a defect

Plug in and put volume up, for mic rotate base 120 degrees forward pretty straightforward

Hey man, I’m looking for a headset for my Switch that doesn’t echo on other players. My friend is starting a streaming channel and he wants me to play Fortnite with him via crossplay with his PS5 and my Switch, so far I’ve bought and returned 2 headsets because they echo his voice and make it impossible for him to record. Have you had any similar issues with this one?
