I thought there was only a version of the only oled dock, but when I saw the end, the standard dock version is also compatible! I've been waiting for this product!!

Idk if something with older docks but the back right screw doesn't line up to screw in on the v1 model dock mobo. Also good yall have these videos but should have a link in ur products, didnt see anything in mine but figuredit out. Love customizing with ur products but def wish some more options in dpad joycon colors were availabl

Is the port suppose to wobble a bit? I installed the spring part correctly but it seems to wobble more than it should

Really want to buy this, just waiting till my switch's warranty runs out

It needs some weight cuz when removing it from the dock, it still gets stuck. Also, the closing of the lip near the led daughter board needs adjustment cuz closing can lead to the wire breaking from the soldered part.

@ExtremeRate The transparent/RGB version, they can be prevented cuz its see through but with the black/white, it's an easy miss. It almost removed mine(black/red wires) cuz the solder from the led daughter board was in the way.

The transparent version is available, there are 3 colors at this moment, white, black, and clear

Do the white/black versions allow you to see your Dock’s LED light? When viewing images of the transparent version on the website, it looks as though the LED assembly is covered up (but still visible if the shell is transparent, because obvious reasons lol). The reason I ask is this, I have an Ice Blue Dock LED that came with the (also Ice Blue) JoyCon LED kit, but I hadn’t gotten around to installing it yet. If I got the AiryDocky, I would like to see the Ice Blue LED if possible.

Yes! There is a translucent spot on the top-right corner of the dock front, the light will shine through

Funny i did the same and was gonna use it on mune. I got the rgb clear one. Great product wish they had some more colors tho.

It is sold out in every marketplace. Was it limited edition, unsuccessful experiment or we just need to wait a bit till new party will be realised?

Hi ! I followed every step for the standard version but it doesn't seem to work :( When I plug the hdmi and USBC, nothing happens and the switch keeps displaying on its own screen Moreover, after trying to make it work, I noticed something strange : if I plug the usbc cable directly to the switch, it doesn't charge... I have to unplug / replug the sector adaptor to make it charge again. It seems that the usbc power adapter enters a safe mode or something when it's used with the dock... Do you have on how I could fix this problem ?

Did you happen to reverse the cable going to the USB c port? Id check the cable with a flashlight and see if any of the electrical connections got severed.

33:36 You should probably inform people that they need to remove the decorative shell cover from the top shell before assembly. It comes from the manufacturer already snapped into place so most would never think to remove it beforehand, especially not when your tutorial makes no mention of it. This leads to people snapping the whole thing together, realizing the decorative shell cover needs to come out, then struggling to pry it back open because of the clips. Or just don't snap it in there beforehand and save everyone the headache.

I noticed that the black one is out of stock in Europe. Is it coming back in stock soon? Edit: Speak of the devil, I can order again, it will just ship a week later than the other colours.

13:02 Hey, does anyone know where I can get a replacement LED cable thingy? I seem to have broken my LED PCB when installing, I was expecting a far more secure fit and pressed way too hard on mine, shattered the LED.

@@ExtremeRate the cable is fine and all, I just pressed a little too had and the LED itself broke off the little board. It’s gone. I assume it’s gonna be easier to buy a replacement than it is to dig the little metal piece out of a vacuum cleaner

If it’s hitting the actual plastic just shave a bit off with a razor or exacto. You could also just have the screws too tight.

Nah. If anything, my old dockable spigen case that used to work on the oled dock no longer works in this. Oh well, a plus is that I can finally dock my switch while the dock sits in my narrow shelf.

@@DonJetblack00 I feel like there would be a market for someone to make replacement shells that would fit better with cases on. I used to use the spigen case as well, but then I started using the Hori Split Pad Pros and unfortunately the case isn't compatible. I don't think any case is :/. I can't play handheld with the tiny joycon sticks and buttons anymore.

Does this fit with the OLED with a tempered glass screen protector?

complete and utter junk. there’s zero way to disassemble this if you make even the smallest mistake such as a misaligned spring without intentionally breaking it
