Nintendo Switch LCD FPC Replacement

Ғылым және технология

The Nintendo Switch LCD connector (FPC) is very fragile and prone to damage when the flex cable is being inserted. In this case, we have a Nintendo Switch game console that worked for quite some time but eventually, the display stopped showing an image. After disassembling it we were able to see that the flexible cable that connects to the motherboard was improperly installed, presumably at the factory since the device had never been opened before. Over time this became a problem but since it has been used for more than a year, warranty repair would be an unlikely option. Not to mention the inconvenience of having to mail it off somewhere and wait to see if the manufacturer would be willing to help.

Hello mike If possible could you please create a tutorial for the Hakko FM2032 Tweezers that you have, actually using them, removing components, giving us a detailed overview. I ask as I really want to get this station set but there's no tutorials out there for it at all, nothing I mean it! Would like to learn as I've seen you use them a few times. Thank you. It can be you using them on a practice board, I think the video will do well as you will be the only one actually doing it.

I may be able to do this in the future. It might however discourage you from buying them as the tweezers aren't as useful as I though that they would be. Having two ports is great though since you don't have to swap out irons as often.
