is there a way to share my digital games with the users on the same switch?

So I'm hoping to get a switch by Christmas so I can use 1 account for KZread and 1 for in general, but will the progress save on each profile

Do the games have different save files for different profiles? Do the games stay the same on the menu or does each profile have their own games?

1.The savefiles are linked to your profile, so yes. 2. It depends. If your 2nd profile is NOT linked with an Nintendo Account the game menu is the same and you can play any game. If your 2nd profile IS linked with an Nintendo Account you can play the cartridge games but the online games it seems a bit complicated and i think it depends on which console is set as your primary console. Hope that helped.

Nintendo Official website: "Please note that you can register one primary console per Nintendo Account. Once you've registered a primary console, your digital purchases can be played by anyone that uses the primary console. Other players will not be able to access your digital games on a non-primary console."

If they share a family membership that gives online to multiple accounts, if you don't have family membership the wash account needs it's own membership sadly

Yes you get a separate save file for each profile.

if I have two profiles and only one is linked to a “Nintendo Account” will the data be saved on the other profile if I take the cartridge out?

I added my kids’ profiles & linked them to their Nintendo accounts but they’re unable to play the games I bought on my account and I can’t add any additional users on Wii Sports, it only allows 1 & the rest of the family have to play as guests. We’re playing locally & it’s the primary & only console. Thanks!

ok so when you buy the game its tied to that account but anyone who is also on that same switch has the game too. as for saves they are tied to the account so if the game allows one save youll have one and your brother will have another but remeber that saves are still tied to the switch so if it dies saves are lost

I’m doing a Pokémon playthrough and I wanted to do the Pokémon VS glitch, but I need to link a Nintendo account for that, but it won’t let me do it, it says this Nintendo account is already linking to another account

now my question is can you transfer your games from one account to another?

If you have an additional account let say HK.. but it is not set as the primary/../ dop i still need Internet access /wifi connection to play the games even the dlcs? because that was my issue with my original US account if I dont register it as the primary user of the console the dlc cant be accessed

I was thinking about creating a new profile for my sister, so we'd have another save date for games like Mario Odyssey. Does it work like that?

Yes, it'll work. If you download the game digitally, you'll need to link an account to your sister profile too, but if you have it on cartridge you won't need to.

Hey, really hoping you can help - so my brother has a switch and has his main profile on it, I made one and linked my Nintendo account to it and I wondering when playing a 2 player game why I can't select my profile. When in games it'll say the main account's name for all players , so it's Dyl and then Dyl 2 and then Dyl 3 etc... How can I use controller #2 and use my profile while controller #1 player uses their profile? Same screen one console

You can do that if you have 2 Nintendo Switches

When you have created an account and then you make another... Can you delete the first one and keep the second?

How about actually showing how to link a Nintendo account to different users like what the title suggests.

Each profile has different save files so you won't be able to mess with his game. If save files aren't the problem then you'll probably have to buy your own game. If someone don't take care of things well enough I wouldn't let anyone play it either. I don't know the reason why you're being barred though these are just some thoughts.

You can't play online in some countries, for example I set my account to Thailand and couldn't play online so I have to reset it to America

He actually explained that at the beginning. U create a new user account and link it with a new Nintendo account. Repeat the process for every user u want to add. Then the main user (guessing is you) will buy a family subscription and voilà, everyone will have internet access.
