This was the game that broke friendships and gave the remaining survivors of my close friends only group trust issues when we chose this game as our main game for covid virtual game night that was held weekly on Friday. Literally shouting, cussing at one another and straight up full blown arguing. I thought Uno and escape room in group were bad. This is the true test of friendship 😂😂😂 (Even made the quiet sweet and patience friend blow a gasket 🙃)

I bought My Time in Portia based on these video…and I have to say thank you thank you thank you!! I know it’s a life sim and there are many of those but there is something about this one that makes me laugh and feel more immersed in the town. It’s wild how detailed the town is. Also the mining is so fun!!

I’m glad you mentioned Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion - I played this game a while ago and haven’t seen anyone talking about it!

Overcooked is SO much fun. Though it's tested my relationship with my fiance on multiple occasions 😂

You have footage of My Time at Portia with grass texture, unfortunately it's been years and we still don't have textured grass for the Switch version in 2022. All of the outside "grass" is just flat green and brown 😳

Mythic Ocean is one I picked up in the sale that I'm excited to play. You get to explore the ocean and talk to these god creatures and help them make decisions to develop the ocean world. It's really story-based and I like that it's replayable because of the different ends you can get

I also picked up overcooked, but in no way would I ever call it cozy. My gang and I's heartrates can't handle the stress of more than a few rounds lmao

Lots of combat, but wiki research being satisfying offsets that, I think. Have a great one!

I noticed the game Grow has one more day of sale left. This game is a great cozy game you should def check out!

I find both Terraria and Minecraft cozy. Even though you fight and die more in Terraria, you don't lose any of your items, just half of any coins you haven't stored yet. Plus, you don't have any item durability to deal with. It's very sandbox with tons of ways to approach everything. You mostly can fight bosses on your own terms, especially once you understand their spawn mechanics. In the past I played a single world for a year without even facing the Wall of Flesh.

I have My Time At Portia on steam, totally recommend it! My Time at Sandrock will be even better, but it won't release on Switch until some time next year.

Sent a shout out to you when I covered the recent Direct! They featured cosy-comfy games so prominently I couldn't help think that your rise on youtube might have had a hand in that! There's no way I could sink time into more than 1 cosy-comfy game at a time, but I'm glad to see someone's covering them all. When I think of Minecraft as a cozy game I think of portal knights. Distractions, home base building, looting everything. The digging sound in portal knights would put my friend to sleep when we would gather resources together. Resetting the realms was also interesting because you could take everything and then put it back new.

I got Down in Bermuda when it was last on sale and it was so much fun! Agree that it isn’t worth the full price but it’s a good game when it’s on sale

Abzu is legit one of my favorite games

I had dismissed Spiritfarer until I started watching your channel. I picked it up earlier in the week when it first came on sale and I can say that I am OBSESSED. I can't believe that I had dismissed it for so long, it is so gorgeous. A bit grindy sometimes but I am loving playing it. As for Down in Bermuda, no one should ever pay full price for that, it's far too short!

I bought down in Bermuda and I also bought ooblets before that which was also on sale so I used my gold points and went from £20 down in Bermuda to 16p, what a bargain😂

to anyone who has an xbox or a partner/friend who would let them borrow their xbox- almost all of these games are free on xbox Gamepass

okay. so I definitely got a problem when it comes to the eshop and sales. . . but silent sector glued me for hours. and I have sever adhd and csnt play anything for long but that damn game had me hooked. might not be super cozy but space is dam beautiful and finding urself complete screwed and in debt is the way alot of cozy games start ahah give it a shot but ps. videos are great. new to the channel but of course subscribed 👍

I need to remember to get Disney Dream light valley. It combines two of my favorite things Disney and Gaming. Never really been interested in kingdom hearts.

maybe I'm just not as good at games but some of the later battles in turnip boy were so hard I had to look up tips and tricks to beat them 🥲😂 can absolutely recommend Portia if you're new-ish to games like these, it's not perfect but a good intro, specially for that price. and then if you enjoyed it, I would also recommend checking out the sequel (currently in beta on pc) because they improved a few of the mechanics from Portia and there's hours and hours of gameplay already and it's not even the full game yet 👍🏾

Honestly I honestly haven’t really played Disney’s Dreamlight Valley yet.

Coming from Rf4 and animal crossing, portia is a bit unpolished. You can really see the cutscenes and animations break in the first couple minutes. But my mom loves it and its one of her first 3d games. She has trouble with the camera, so its really nice to have a casual adventure .

I try to play it but couldn’t get past the first major crafting quest without pulling my hair out. I put it aside and haven’t played it since.

Currently playing Ooblets as I watch this, just saying lol Oof on the sales but I might have just enough left before next pay to grab the couple I'd been thinking about that I don't already have lol Hope you're feeling better! Edit: Scratch that, unfortunately not on sale in the Canadian shop. Will have to watch if they do soon!
