I think this is the first time I see the Nintendo NYC store crowd being silent for a whole trailer. So much respect for a franchise like the legend of zelda.

i don't think it's that. during the mario odyssey trailer earlier in this video, fans were going crazy. but nintendo has shown off zelda botw before, in e3 and even had playable demos there. throughout the entire intro to this clip (also cut off for some reason) people said "zelda... that's zelda" so they were probably already aware of the game, hence the silence.

i hate him, HE IS IN A PRESENTATION , first time seeing that.. couldnt he text later? or after the trailer...of course i wanna kick his ass. im from venezuela, and we dont have access to $$, and he is there in the Nintendo Ny presentation......: SENDING A FUCKING TEXT...... fucker... Mario was a new reveal, and most people there had probably already seen 20 hours of footage from the game and multiple trailers. When that happens you pay attention to the shit hardcore and wait for the new shit and plot/story details no matter what game it is, lol.

Well, the new Breath of the Wild trailer was stunning. So that's probably the reason they were so quiet. ... Still, I was laughing and crying and smiling like an idiot through the entire thing :D

This crowd reaction was pretty good. Its hard to touch the Twilight Princess reveal reaction at E3 2004 though.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Tall Guy in the Middle

Whenever a game developer says. This will be an our greatest game ever. Myiamoto walks in. Everyone bows. The man is a genius in design and always seems to pick the right people to help him. They have a passion for deievering fun above all. That is all we gamers want. Having said that. Zelda invokes reactions like no other game ever. Tears laughter and joy.

Its so quiet because everyone is crying

The reaction to the release date tho...priceless! Guessing everyone wasn't expecting a side by side release to the Switch, even though it's been in development since late 2013 I think

The thing is all you had to do is move a little bit to the left, because it's basically censored with tall McGee

This one vs e3 2004 with Twilight Princess. While in TP reaction the hype was increasing from the beginning to the end. I love how this trailer makes everyone be still just observing with a huge explosion om mixed feelings towards the end.

13 years ago people lost their minds at E3 because it was a surprise announcement and it had realistic graphics style, which many people wanted. This is just a story trailer for a game that was announced 3 years ago and was shown off multiple times.

The reason it was in Japanese is because it was live streamed in Japan. So whatever game they showed was Japanese and with someone there translating in English.

Nintendo's responsible for the two most anticipated games of my life in BOTW and Smash Ultimate, and both came in my adult life. Best first party game company of all time. If Nintendo knows how to do anything, it's to make system selling games.

I'm just happy they played the version with the Japanese audio because it's just straight-up better than the English

This was the best trailer in any entertainment history no doubt. Too bad the actual game fell short on so many of the trailer cues; the Silent princess, Divine beasts were played down plotwise (that goron kid character for Vah Radunia was a joke), and Kass was a mere bystander. Then, there were the dongeons,, all ZERO of them. At least we got awesome 3D Lynels -,- I want the Loftwings back next installment
