Cozy K is easily my favorite guest host. Scott the Woz & so many others were so wonderful to have because I love their channels and was already subscribed. But Cozy K I wasn’t really familiar with, and she just brings such a fun, kind, and interested energy. This may be my favorite Nontendo podcast episode since before Bob left. Will subscribe to her channel too. I hope you have her on again.

This one was really sad, because I love Wood for the personality, I love the wit, the vulnerability and the openness. In the internet there's always going to be some negativity, but I hate both that it is directed at you and that it affects you and your content. Same with the Wind Waker teaser video. People really are in dire need of a way to vent and they have no tools nor constructive paths to channel their energy, so they are very destructive, and it's such a shame. Love you.

Not that anyone asked me, but something I felt like sharing for a while is that I really love the nontendo podcast. Honestly, I kinda found myself because nontendo inspired me to start streaming and creating content for video games and I realized it's something that really fulfills me and it's a part of who I am. And I lost touch with that part of me for a long time. But I do feel like there was a period where it seemed very much, kind of just for guys not very welcoming for women. For like a year. And not everything is meant to be created just for me and that's totally okay. But I did find myself inspired to keep up with the non-tendo podcast again. And more recently I've been listening to every episode and enjoying the content and the guests. So keep up the good work ✨

Ah! I loved this one. Cozy K is one of my favorite channels, she inspired me so much in my life and in my KZread channel! Wood- as a first time commenter I’ve definitely noticed a lot of commenters acting like you can’t do anything right and I don’t understand it! No one is perfect, but I love the podcast and all the people who work hard on it, so don’t give up! I’ve been watching weekly for a long time now and have been silent, but supporting yall all along the way. The rudest people are always the loudest 💪🏻

Haven’t watched yet but I just about died of happiness seeing Cozy K in the thumbnail, love her content and have been a long time subscriber!!!!! I’m so excited for this episode!!!!

Wood seems to not take into account that even if a Monkey Island retrospective might do worse than usual it will more than likely draw in a new audience who will take a look at his other content. I'm surprised that at this point he doesn't just do what he likes and just let the chips fall where they may. But I see he's really affected by the stats and comments so I get it but some content might also do a lot better than he might think beforehand. I'm not saying he has to turn everything around, just that there is no problem in occasionally trying something different and just enjoy even if it's just a one-off thing.

Wood, some feedback. The audio is very low and sometimes I have a hard time hearing the podcast even with 100% volume, specially during the sponsored spot. Otherwise, great job. I love guests, the image quality, the sound quality is great (just low) and the set is awesome.

People sometimes hate on successful people simply because they are successful. Don’t worry too much about it Wood. With any criticism you can see if there is some truth in it and if so work on it, but if not just let it slide by. You’re doing great 👍🏻

Trying to define a cozy game is like trying to define a fun game. Everyone got their own preference/definition.

Hey, just wanted to say I love the show and how you've found a way to make it work without Bob. I didn't get a chance to give my opinion on the podcast on that one episode but I'd thought I'd say it now. I love the guests, but it feels like the conversation leans heavily on content creation instead of gaming, even though I know those things relate. But I think those conversations with content creation guests are going to happen naturally, so I think I would love a break from the guests now and then for you to do news or something wacky like the tier list again. Otherwise I'm still watching :)

I hate being reminded that wood hates phantom hourglass. It's definitely not in my top 10 zeldas but I loved playing that game on my DS lite.

I would like to correct your statement that you had to connect something to your TV to play Stadia. You could also play on your phone, and I think they added chrome browser support later... It wasn't the connection points that were the problem, it was the latencey that was effectively a non-solveable problem when dealing with real-time 3D games having to be streamed over whatever connection you were using.

1:11:23 I don't think the future of gaming is streaming (definitely digital only but not streaming) because the way people generally engage with games is wildly different than music/tv, with a movie I might watch it at absolute most three times if its really good (theater + home + with friends) thats 3 evenings (2 if you don't count the theater visit), with music I'm not going to go out of my way to seek songs if its not available then I don't care to listen its mostly just background noise (and I think thats how most people engage with music aswell), however with games most people are directly engaged and it takes a lot of evenings for one playthrough (especially for 50-100 hours games like death stranding or persona) and people often replays games if they were good after a couple of months/years so renting it doesn't feel as a whatever thing you kinda want to "own" the license theres also the production cost, triple a games nowadays can take like 5-6 years to develop (according to jason schreier), the 10 dollar/month renting method isn't going to make up for the cost of making (which we can already see with gamepass and xbox themself directly having to cut down on dev cost) (there is also the part where the method is getting questionable, with spotify artists barely getting scraps from the listens and netflix is starting to struggle to keep up in recent years with having to make it more expensive, have ads and removal of password sharing, they rose in the first place because they were in the right place at the right time and could get a ton of cheap licenses for old shows/movies that publishers didn't care too much about at the time)

Hi, love your videos, can the guy off camera have a mic just for when he talks? It’s hard to hear what he’s askin/ having input on. I mostly listen in the car and can never hear what he’s saying. Thanks!
