I believe this is fair. Pit himself is so purehearted, even Dark Pit who is supposed to be pure evil from being exposed to the mirror actually isn't truly evil himself considering how quick he was to aid the heroes when things got dire. I think it was said somewhere that "Pit is so pure, not even his dark side is evil."

You forgot something important about Fox: Before most of Andross’ boss fight, Fox order his friends to go back to space to keep them safe, knowing that the monkey will try to kill his friends. There are two exceptions: The first one being in Star Fox 2, where he (if he’s played) helps Falco/Slippy/Peppy/Miyu/Fay defeat the evil scientist. The second one being in Star Fox Adventure, where Falco (who previously left the team) saves him from Andross’ clutches and send him Smart Bombs to kill Andross’ brain. The reason why Fox did not told Peppy and Slippy to come back to the Great Fox is because they were already in. Also, he only fights for good in all of his apparences. Well, except in World of the Light, but since Galeem brainwashed him and Falco (and it’s not canon), it doesn’t count. Also, he fights Andross to vengeance James’ death and to protect the Lylat system, his home and his friends, that he deeply cares about, and is very patient towards characters like Slippy and Falco. Speaking of Falco, when he rescues Fox from the Aparoids on Fichina, Fox thanks him and returns the flavor by using a Plasma Canon on the avian’s Arwing to protect him. As for Slippy, Fox is never annoyed by the little guy. Both Fox and Slippy are very close friends since childhood. Finally, when it comes to Peppy, he and Fox are very close, and they became even closer when James died: Peppy was the one who told Fox everything and trained him to lead the Team Star Fox. Peppy has a father-son relationship with Fox. Heck, Fox even goes on Titania to rescue Slippy/Peppy/Falco (although it didn’t happen to the latter yet) when he crashes on the planet! Despite being his number one rival, Fox respects Wolf, and Wolf also respects Fox, to the point where he straight up rescues him from the Aparoids on Corneria, just like 😅Falco did many times. Finally, in Star Fox Guard, he, Slippy, Peppy and Falco arrive to help the player in cases of emergency. In the final boss, when Fox tells Slippy to stay in the base, the young toad immediately chooses to get in his Arwing to help his friends protect the base, and Fox and the others accept it. And that’s not even including the Switch version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas, where he and his team accept to work with the Starlink Initiative to save their leader, Victor St.Grand, and the Atlas system from Grax’s clutches, after the Forgotten Legion abducts him. In return, the Starlink Initiative helps the Team Star Fox find Wolf, and when the Team Star Wolf returns, both teams work together to take them down.

The trainers from the Hoenn, Sinnoh, Ultra Alola, Kalos, Galar, and second set of Unova games should be in the True Heroes group. They get dragged into near world ending messes. The Ultra ones even save another dimension.

Thank you for putting Mario as a true leader and hero not as a evil animal abuser like some people believe Mario is a true hero because he’s willing to risk his life by saving his brother and friends literally almost every day he literally saved his worst enemy’s life which is bowser by helping bowser jr mario is always willing to do anything to help his brother and his friends plus the only time he ever was a “villain” was because of Donkey Kong I can just go on about Mario 😊❤️

I feel like the newest protagonists in the Pokemon series should've been given their own spot, just like Rei and Akari. I know they may seem selfish, but they set out to see what they will always treasure for a school assignment, basically try to see what they want to do with their life, make friends, help out people who need it with a smile, and selflessly save all of Paldea from a disaster. They are far more heroic than most other protagonists in these games.

Finally you guys did not Call Donkey Kong entirely selfish like in your Donkey Kong Good to Evil

Nintendo really knows how to make heroes, especially since like half this list are all selfless heroes. But good to pure is always difficult to rate, mainly because of how varied "good" can be viewed. But these videos doing so are always amazing. Mortal Kombat heroes good to most good!

Only problem with the good to pure rankings is how in order to be the purest you have to be world saving even though a lot of characters don’t have the ability to save the or destroy it for villains and it should be to scale for their capabilities since for example if chip whistler had the power of bill would be do what bill did or if little Mac had Mario’s powers would he try to save the world it depends on the characters abilities. Also I would say the Pokémon trainer is a world saving hero in regions like hoenn,sinnoh/hisui, or alola with how they threatened even the universe with necrozma or volo and giratina

Least heroic Nintendo protagonist is wario. He was initially a villain who shifted into a villain protagonist who goes up against foes worse than he is, to essentially a bounty hunter that doesn't mind helping as long as he's payed

Great video. I did see how you added several reasons for these characters and explained many of the other franchises, but why was Meta Knight's picture one of Dark Meta Knight? Either way I think you did a great job on this.

He doesn’t have any negatives really at all, he kidnapped DK because DK kidnapped Pauline, and because DK being a wild fully grown gorilla is a threat to the public. Mario had every right to do what he did and wasn’t a villain at all. People just like to assume putting animals in cages is always a bad thing, when in reality it is at times a bad thing, but also necessary at other times.

I also agree with this list, but I would personally swap Meta Knight and Fox.

I’m a bit confused. You said the Marth was a flawless character in the Smash good to evil, but now you tell us his flaw is his wrath for his friends.

I get Kirby's too trusting, but I think it's neat he still wanted to save Magolor even after being betrayed by him, according to the pause descriptions in KRtDL Deluxe. Honestly it takes a heart of gold to be that willing to forgive. I'd put him a bit higher. Doesn't have to be at the top really. Now this is an extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY controversial decision considering the size and wrath of his fanbase, but Mario on the other hand definitely should be lowered. He's one of the only heroes near the top of the list to ever have been a villain at one point, and no, there is no defending it. Mario was 100% intended to be the villain in Donkey Kong Jr. and it shows. Most villains who use a whip like that use it to force others to do their bidding. That is what Mario is doing to those animals. I wouldn't put him at the bottom or whatever, but number 2 on the list is taking it a bit far. Come on now, Luigi does pretty much everything his brother does, even if he has a little (and by little, I mean big) cowardice, but he doesn't have a blunder that's this massive.

This is great! However I think a few more characters should be added to this list. Since Fire emblem three houses is one of my favorite games, I think Byleth should be one of them on this list.

I may sound because, well, I’m a Kirby fan, but Kirby canonically was literally born from positive energy, making him a being of a pure soul. There is Gooey who was originally a dark matter that got influenced my Kirby to be good. There’s is Kirby’s shadow clone “shadow Kirby” who isn’t evil like dark meta knight or shadow Dedede since there’s no negative traits from Kirby. The whole reason why he was even able to save his planet and the multiverse many of times is because his pure soul allowed him to take down beings that are other wise unhurtable. And also he when out his way to go in another dimension or realm to save Hyness, the mage sisters, Leongar, who tried to reform a planet conquering alien or the literal god of destruction on the world, and Kirby was still kind to go out of his way to save their life. Most of his friends also tried to kill him at some point too so that’s saying something.

Can this video be considered part 2 of "Nintendo Villains: Evil to Most Evil"? You could even make a whole video where you put all these characters in order from baddest to best.

The list looks fine. However there are some flaws I want to point out. Firstly I’m glad you added Meta Knight to the list… but you used Dark Meta Knight as his icon instead. Those two are obviously different characters. Secondly, I think DK should be placed higher than Meta Knight, due to being more actively heroic and even in his antagonistic roles, he is never really outright villainous. The same goes for Fox, who’s a pure good. Lastly, I disagree with Mario’s ranking. While he may be noble and heroic in nearly all games, he has quite a few flaws (having couple of moments where he’s a jerk, and one could make the argument that he is a redeemed villain, although there is speculation that DKJR may be non canon). I would place him lower than Link, Kirby and Luigi. Other than that, I think everything else is good. I’m also glad that Pit got the gold medal on this list. Nice job! @@rudysarmiento8700 It’s because DK is more actively a hero than Meta Knight. Even in his antagonistic roles in the Mario vs Donkey Kong games, his “crimes” are relatively harmless and he’s more of a friendly rival to Mario. Also the “Donkey Kong” who fought Mario in the arcade game with the same name was a younger Cranky Kong. Current DK is usually a good guy. Meta Knight is a good guy too, but he’s less actively heroic than Donkey Kong, still appears as a boss in some Kirby games and had a brief stunt as a villain (in Revenge of Meta Knight). His crimes were well-intentioned but more heinous. Also Nintendo still considers Meta Knight to be an anti-hero, but most people can generally agree at this point that he’s practically a full-on hero. To put it short, Donkey Kong’s crimes as a “villain” were more harmless than Meta Knight, and he’s more consistently heroic. I also ranked Yoshi in the third place, because he’s kind-hearted, caring, and has absolutely no flaws (he’s also on the Pure Good wiki). He only falls short to Link and Pit, only because the other two are a tad more admirable.

Yeah and they said all of them fall under that but that is highly untrue for the Sun/Moon and the Scarlet/Violet protagonists as for the former, there wasn't even an established league at the time when they went on their trials and was more about trying to stop the Aether Foundation and the latter they literally are going for the championship title at the request of Nemonia

The reason why Olimar's on PNF-404 in Pikmin 3 is because the company works for went into debt again, this time due to the President, plus he's looking for enough treasure to buy back his ship, the S.S. Dolphin which was sold to pay off the original debt in 2

Actually the first inconsistency I don’t mind since the smash bros list came out before this video and the fact that Samus was ranked as Luigi by itself is ridiculous. But I agree with the rest of the inconsistencies you pointed out.

DK was hypnotized by the commercials in Mario vs DK, that’s why he was acting like a villain. And Meta Knight is forced to be Dedede’s henchman because it’s the star warriors purpose to help their masters, no matter who they are. Dedede must’ve been the puppet master in those two Kirby games. Some of the medals didn’t make much sense, I had a feeling that Pit would be one of the people up top (he’s a true angel), I feel Luigi is more pure hearted than you say with his so called “stories”.
