There is a plan in the works for an airport in Clark, but that is 10-15 years away. In the meantime, our country has to make the most of what we have.

The problem with this design would be when the typhoon or rainy season comes in. What would be the alternative plan for the OPEN big patio outside of the terminal when it rains? They can come up more with different designs that would promote accessibility FREE with out any hustles. In my opinion, safety, accessibility, and comfortability of the passengers must be considered in designing an airport.

I love the plan of this airport and I am so happy that finally we will have an airport that is relaxing to move around. However, no matter how big and great the place is if there is not enough TOILETS, it doesn't mean much to me. Good Luck!!!

@Ryad040492 I agree. NAIA can be improved but we all know it can't take any more air traffic. DMIA is where to develop the new global gateway to the Philippines. The issue is reliable transportation from Manila to DMIA like a high speed rail system.

Robert, I hear that they stated to revamping tha air port..Plus the San Fran airport building term 3 with a brand new hotel...

The proposed modern rail system to connect Manila and DMIA (Clark) is a good idea if we are to replicate what Bacolod did to their airport (transferred it to another city Silay and still call it Bacolod-Silay Airport).

NAIA....needs a complete over haul...not just rehabilitation and all airport terminals needs to have the ability to connect & transfer between the other airport terminals. It should also have access to a light rail system that can take people to all the major cities.

They have new design for the renovation of NAIA

1 billion pesos and it's basically a mere facelift of the airport? I thought it would be an expansion to the terminal itself, or even the addition of more terminals thereby expanding the size of the airport.

Eto na ba talaga yung gagawin sa NAIA rehab? Bakit dun sa interviews kay Honorado, retrofittings lang daw. So hindi ito yung gagawin sa NAIA 1 rehab? :( sayang naman, kasi it looks promising and maganda talaga yung design nila Cobonpue :( sana ito nalang yung gayahan nila :(
