I visited Ninomiya Shrine in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture.
The visit was on April 29, 2024.
The shrine was founded in the 800s, and the current shrine building was built about 250 years ago.
The ginkgo tree in the shrine grounds is about 25m tall, and is said to be the tallest in Funabashi City.
And it seems that it was located in this place more than 150 years ago.
Ninomiya Shrine holds its seven-year festival, and a total of nine mikoshi shrines gather here at Ninomiya Shrine.
