Murió en un accidente de tráfico poco después de grabar esta canción. La letra de la canción siempre ha resultado ser premonitoria a la desgracia. Un artista que no pudo desarrollarse completamente, una pena muy grande. Gracias por estos videos Frank!!

Voz poderosa y totalmente entonada.......dominaba todos sus recursos líricos!!!!!!
Mi padre, que tuvo la suerte de poder ver a Nino Bravo en directo en la plaza de toros de Valencia, aún recuerda como Nino estiraba el brazo completamente para alejar el micrófono mientras cantaba y todavía se podía escuchar potente y claramente. Una voz poderosa y brillante como ninguna, lástima que se fue tan pronto, hubiera sido inalcanzable!!!
Que gran pérdida sufrió el mundo de la música con su muerte. Aún así, sigue siendo recordado, y reconocido como lo que es, una de las mejores voces que ha dado la música en español.

Agreed on that. The best ever. He was called "The Sinatra from the Mediterranean" but he passed away so soon. The most powerful voice who ever sang in spanish language

His potential as a star was enormous, he was preparing his international debut but unfortunately Nino Bravo died in 1973 in a car accident. He recorded about 60 songs that were edited in 5 LPs. I was born and live in the US but both my parents are from Galicia in northwestern Spain, I’m 41 now but I remember as a kid my parents listening to Nino Bravo as well as Al Bano y Romina! He would do songs in Spanish and I think these two have collaborated at some point... great memories.. in regards to the song it was basically written in tribute to Spaniards who have immigrated to other countries and this is a song about that farewell and possible return... very touching to many Spanish immigrants

Sadly, he didn't have much time to get popular in Italy, he died one year later in 1973 when he was 28 years old. He was an amazing singer. My parents used to listen to his music, so listen to his songs also brings me memories of my childhood. Thanks!
