Yes comon Valiant keep it coming. Another good series, just hope it doesn't go the Rai rout wish started great but ended not so great. Also, is it me or is Valiant trying to turn Roku into their version of Deathstroke going for my villain to an antihero?

I hope it doesn’t go the war of Rai for sure. That was disappointing! I think Valiant is treating Roku as well as they can. The Kindt run of Ninjak cemented her as his foil. Honestly, in the beginning, I wasn’t a big Roku fan, but I’m coming around!

great review and i know you guys arent a huge roku fan but i actually find roku interesting like she's elektra to ninjak. And emilano correa's art looks good at most pages and i like how he draws women but some stances can look weird. AND IM gonna read it someday and i gotta say it sounds way more interesting than jeff parker's ninjak and i think ninjak being fast paced is a good thing because ninjak is the type of character that has fast paced action and i like that it feels like ninjak and i like that they hired a writer that actually is a fan of the character. I hope aj continues to deliver on the series. Man dang it, i wanna read it. And which comic do you like better? Invictus #2, bloodshot unleashed reloaded #4 or ninjak vs roku #1?

Bloodshot Unleashed Reloaded #4 is still my favorite because of how off the wall it is, but I certainly like this new direction for Ninjak. Also, I’m excited to see what Ampadu does with Shadowman.

Definitely wasn’t going to buy this after the last few Ninjak series. BUT this sounds promising, the art looks on point and the writer being a long term Valiant reader is promising. Having Roku feature is NOT a draw, can we come up with someone new, I feel like this has all been done before. I’ll wait to see how the rest of the series goes then I might pick it up. I’ve been burnt by DMG too many times, and to a lesser extent Alien, to jump into a series where Roku is a main player.

I completely understand the apprehension with DMG and Alien. It’s been a rollercoaster of quality lately. Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of Roku either, I find the other members of Weaponeer more compelling.

Great review! Never read any Ninjak before, but I liked this issue. About the artist change, Giribaldi is very good, if not better that Correa (I love Correa and Giribaldi) I follow both on Ig, dont get me wrong. Their art styles are similar

Thanks! That’s great to hear. I actually saw that Giribaldi subscribed to my channel the other day, so I hope to let him know what I think soon!

3:15 DIdn't see this part as you did. Saw it as Ninjak holding her at blade-point and Roku walking right into the stab to show that she DGAF about that sort of threat :P

That’s true. I saw it the exact opposite way. In both cases, that’s awesome!
