Beautifully done
Damn. I already have the foodi grill but I’ve had my eye on this since last year. If they have a Labor Day discount n a few weeks then I may run it! I need that smoke option n my life and this is the best unit I’ve seen for an apartment.

I wish I would have had something like this back when I lived in an apartment cause I know they sometimes have rules against having actual grills! If you do pick this up I highly recommend ordering the griddle plate for it since it doesn’t come bundled together unfortunately.

In the UK it seems to come with the griddle plate but not the flat plate. I just ordered this for £224 including stand and cover and the extra Flat plate at £20 totalling £244 or $308 Inc tax

If you do end up getting one I would suggest their newest model that’s actually a lot bigger. All the same functions just more cooking space!
Does your griddle plate wiggle a bit on the grill? Can‘t seem to get mine to not move on either side.

I actually noticed the first time I used it, it wouldnt sit “correctly” in place. During the heat up the ninja would say there wasn’t a griddle plate. Hasnt happened since but I do notice the wiggle

Can you cook with the wood fire open or does the lid need to be closed for things like smash burgers
@LazyBearCooking
3 ай бұрын
you can cook with the lid open on grill mode! I would close the lid simply to use it to melt the cheese like using a dome. BUT keep in mind the fan might blow the cheese off it happened to me a couple times so now i just keep the lid open and use an actual dome lol
Even though I don’t eat beef this burger looks F.A.B. Just ordered one of these grills a couple of days ago so maybe I’ll make a burger up with turkey thigh mince instead😊
I been eyeing this Ninja wood fired grill. Have 2 questions- 1. Is the griddle reversible? Slats on one side smooth on other for smash burgers? It always shows slats on Amazon. 2. How do ribs come out using pellets? 2
@LazyBearCooking
8 күн бұрын
for your first question its two different inserts one is griddle and the other is the one with the slats that you're talking about and you can change them out. HOWEVER the griddle does not come with the ninja its a separate purchase so keep that in mind. 2. i havent done ribs yet but from the videos ive seen you can get some pretty decent ribs out of this thing 3. they just came out with a bigger size version of the ninja so if you are looking into getting i highly suggest getting that one instead! hope this helps!

Pretty much same concept but it doubles as an air fryer/smoker. But when I say smoker it’s more of a smoke infuser ? Idk if that makes sense.

@@jeremiah8559 I'm afraid you will find many people who disagree with you on this, even professional chefs. The idea that 'it's not cheese' is largely irrelevant it's all about the texture, mouth feel and lack of greasiness. If you get a sense of superiority by not eating it then fair enough, but even Gordon Ramsay likes American cheese on smashed burgers. Personally I would never eat it on anything else but I'm open-minded enough to appreciate that it really does work brilliantly on this particular dish
