Why is that amazing? They did it 30 years ago on MUCH, MUCH less powerful hardware with X-men. It has been even much longer that a home console should have gotten it.

I love TMNT Also there game's never loss that cool feeling of kicking ass with your best friends or family but there's so much more that can be done with there huge roster, there infinite universe and there neverending story line.I would love to see all of the original toy line characters in one epic video game with this same art style that would be the holy grail of TMNT video games😁

technically, this is not old school ... it's just not 3D but anything else is pretty much high 2D tech and sound that was not available before in such quality

The only thing I have a problem with is that they couldn't fit all 7 characters in for multi-player. Other than that, this is an awesome game. I'm glad I got it. Looks like the next two upcoming games are using the same animation style as this game. Toxic Crusaders and Double Dragon. I'm gonna have to play those as well when they get released.
