WOW! I've gone thru a lot of "how to's" for this grill, and all left me without knowing the basics that even the Ninja booklet doesn't show. Thank you, Sweetsavant, for being thorough for an 88 year old man who needs step by step instructions. Now I feel safe in putting those two thick New York steaks I bought on the grill. PART TWO: I do have the grill with the temperature control. I did one of the 2 New Yorks this eve. and with only salt and pepper, had the very best medium rare NYS in my life. I can't wait to use it on other steaks.

Oh man temperature probe is working amazing, we have used this future to cook chicken,steaks, sausages it is amazing it cooks everything to your desired taste, highly recommend if have it use it.

I just got mine, and with your easy to follow directions I was able to cook a dinner for 4 adults everything you showed here I cooked it was a great dinner so good my son-in-law purchased theirs thank you from a 1st time user.

Heard many people love cooking theirs ribeyes in the air fryer crisper. Usually 400 for 12 minutes, turn at 5 for medium rare, so there's a nice crisp to it. Would like to see you cook one in the air fryer. Thank you,

Returned our 7 in 1. Reminded me of the Foreman Grill days, food is sitting in the grease, it does not drain as well, food slides down, etc. Prefer the open grill design of the 5 in 1 for true grilling like outdoor grills.

Just ordered this and looking for info, wathed a ton and nothing gave the info as good as I just watched. Ninja should hire you!!!

Thank you for this. I have the smaller grill and like it so much, I want the larger XL model. I’m a home bread baker and use the smaller one to make rolls, focaccia and burger buns, especially out on my deck in the summertime. Steaks come out perfect!

Just got one of these and it's awesome. I travel with it and it's a game changer. I can cook a grill cheese in the morning, and perfect steaks at night. Totally recommend

Got mine today, but I had to really search for it. I went to 5 places that advertised that they carried this modle but none of them acutally did, they didn't even have a place for it. I went to Khol's, Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond and Macy's, struck out on all of them. Finally I found one a Target, but it was their last one and for some reason they're closing this modle out so I got it for only $120 so a very good deal. I cooked a steak using the grill and it came out great with a very good sear. I then air fried some brussel sprouts and they came out really very good. So far I'm very pleased.

THANK YOU! You did a wonderful job actually showing me how to use this device. I got mine a few months ago but was confused by the company's lack of clear directions on the front panel. I am ready to get cooking.

Hi, I really enjoyed your video. I have a Foodi Smart XL Grill. I have used the smart 1 time for a steak, it wasn't right so I haven't used it since. I would love to have this new grill but the plate needs to have higher sides according to the problems you had with the rice, etc. I hope they correct it so I can upgrade.

You sold me by the way I bought it right now because of you . Keep up the work thank you

Just going to say, I have been using mine regularly here since I got it for Christmas, and holy crap, what a difference it has made. I have used the air fryer, griddle and grill functions a ton here. All with impressive results. My favorite thing to make of late is 唐揚げ /Karaage or Japanese style fried chicken. It is so simple to make and downright incredible, it is going to change your perspective on fried chicken forever if you make it.

This was a fantastic tutorial. My food also slipped right off the grill plate into the drip pan. I may use a wedge just to keep it from slipping like that.

I went back to the smart grill for steaks, they don't slip around and there's a thermometer. This grill is just too slippery.

Hey Fam. Thanks for giving us a great thorough description and demonstration. I love that there is a heating element on both the top and the bottom. It makes a huge difference. I love the grill marks on the steak and zucchini. I know dinner was the bomb. I would love to see you cook pancakes or crepes.

I was waiting for your review on this grill! I still have it boxed. After seeing some of the cons of the grill (after purchasing), I have decided to return it. Like another reviewer said, I think Ninja took a step backwards. The grooves in the air fryer basket for grease to collect is a big No for me as well as food sliding into the trench of grease. The functionality of the buttons and dials seem cumbersome. I’ll stick with my XL grill for now until Ninja makes substantial improvements on the new model. I was waiting to hear if you thought the upgrade was really worth it but I guess you need more time to cook with it. Love your channel!

Excellent video I like it but I think it’s missing one accessory it needs a solid air fryer basket I guess because if I wanted to do fried rice I don’t want rice all over the countertop so I think it needs another basket I don’t know if it’s slow cooks but it would be nice if it did thank you

Hi Sweetsavant, I just came across your channel as I am a new Ninja XL Pro 9 in 1 owner. You are extremely pleasant to listen too as well as watch. Your videos are smooth and detailed and I greatly appreciate that. Thank you so much. I am wondering if you can do a video (if not already) on using the Ninja to cook chicken breasts. I used mine for the first time yesterday and used the probe and "chicken" preset....... It cooks the chicken to 170 degrees, which is waaaay to high for chicken, as it should be about 165 after resting...... so I took them off to rest when the Ninja read 160 degrees but they were dry. Thank you again for your videos!

thanks for taking the time to review this product and cook your foods on it. i have the first two ninja foodi models, and would have to trade out the first rendition of it if i wanted to get this one. im such a fan of the product that i have bought my son, my daughter and my sis-in-law the second rendition. i wonder how some marinated catfish flillets would come out on the xl pro grill and griddle. take care.

I have the first ninja grill and I hate the grill plate. So hard to clean. Saw the second one had the same kind of plate and wasn't as deep as the first so I passed. Now this has my attention.
