Ninja 300 Coolant Change/ Flush video ||Read Comments before watching ||
If needing assistance to take off fairings, feel free to look back at my earlier video.
• Ninja 300 side fairing...
What I forgot in video was, make sure you torque although not as much which is fine, the drain bolt before you start pouring the distilled water in or it will just drain out.
I used only 1 gallon of distilled water and 3 flushes. I was confident after the 3rd and I saw clear water.
I would highly recommend not using a rear stand !
If you think you may of want to test the system, you may also run your bike with radiator cap off to let the bubbles float to surface. Make sure to watch it carefully so it doesn't over flow and you should turn bike off. I would leave the bike over night so you know for sure you did if correctly.
I used only a small few sips of engine after video, you will only need to buy one half gallon container of engine ice.
Don't forget to torque drain bolt before putting in your coolant !!

Never drain the coolant right after running, if you take the radiator cap off while it's still warm you run the risk of spraying your face with +100 degree celsius coolant and water which pretty much guarantees severe burns.

Filling a hot radiator is fun too!
This guy has no clue lol. So funny as a mechanic to watch this guy act like he’s knowledgeable
Thank you for your video. i am understand
I had my Ninja 300 from 2013 thru 2019 and I never checked my coolant. You can't see it when you are riding and it was my first bike. I googled regular service on a motorcycle and coolant did not come up in any of my search results. I did get my oil changes and tires/chain at a local shop and can only assume that they must have filled it lol.
great job bro
Thanks bro, you let me see a couple things for what not to do, LOL.

Like not to run the bike before hand. It pressurizes the cooling system and will make you have a bad day
Hello I crashed my bike but I'm having trouble finding where a part goes back I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what but I can't seem to put it back anywhere it starts and runs but seems like that's an important part. Please if anyone can help me I'd really really appreciate it I'm a to riding. Kawasaki Ninja 300 2014. . thank you

Méchant bordel tu m'as bien fait rire😅
You can just run the bike with the radiator cap off and all the air will escape so there’s no need to pour slow
You are supposed to unbolt the front screw on the front of the engine under the radiator.

Bro I wont be as rude as others but what eksine mentioned is correct. You have got to drain the engine coolant reservoir as well

am looking for this. Where exactly is it? So hard to find from the pic on the manual
wow proof people that dont know what they are doing shouldnt make informational videos on how to maintain motorcycles....... it's a pressurized system thats why it doesnt just pour out........ the process is drain bolt out, radiator cap off, squeeze hoses, drain overflow, flush full system with distilled water, turn on rev a few times, drain, and refill, rock the bike side to side and squeeze hoses to release air bubbles, top off fill between full and min. let warm to fan turn on. let cool and top off just below the max line.....

Did that, probably didn't explain well enough in video.
Do i have to flush the coolant before adding more?
@TheSoulMan11
5 жыл бұрын
Yes, you need to properly flush it before adding new coolant. It gets all the old coolant out and the new in. Yiu want to flush it with distilled water a few times to get old out.
I couldn't find where was the bolt?? Is it on left or right side?

Left side.. I just got my Kawasaki and this is the video I found (not so helpful
Facts
You filmed the exact opposite angles you needed to film from... Left side of the water pump is useless when everything is done on the ride side of it....

Engine ice better than stock coolant ? Did u feel any difference?
@TheSoulMan11

Neeraj Thomas Felt a difference on my 636, which also has a temp gauge which is easier look. Bike definitely feels better than what dealer puts in. Some people get water wetter I believe it's called.

Neeraj Thomas It definitely rides smoother than it didn't before.
If you have a really good quality coolant you can pour it into the radiador straight ahead without the water

distilled water is only used to flush the system
Does the oil tank get hot after riding? Is that normal
@TheSoulMan11
5 жыл бұрын
Gas tank or Oil pan? Oil pan does get hot because oil is going through engine and oil is warmed up which is normal.
Shut up woman! Is the most useful advice in this video! 🤣

How often should you change coolant and oil?
@TheSoulMan11
5 жыл бұрын
coolant, manual will say every 3 years. Oil changes you want to do every 3-5k miles or every 6 months; pretty much same thing with a car etc.

@@TheAnswerIs30 proper check is leveling the bike out and not on stand. it takes some practice but 1 person can do it. ninja 300 oil changes are simple.

@@TheAnswerIs30 hopefully it wasn't like that when it was leveled lol you should not start it until it has proper level of oil.
