Ninja 1000/Z1000SX track day

In May 2018, I was able to go to a track day at High Plains Raceway in Colorado. It's been a couple of years since I've been to the track. My goal was to not crash and have fun. Goal accomplished. The bike is a 2017 Ninja 1000/Z100SX pretty much stock with a couple of minor mods.

Thank you, I really miss this bike. It’s amazing but now I’m riding a Ninja 400 and it’s pretty great too.
Nice vid man! I have a 2017 Ninja 1000 as well. I love it!

Keetoo 1 thank you, the new Ninja 1000 is great and very tempting.
Nice riding, and smart of you to let the faster guys pass and look which lines they take. The bike is fantastic, i´ve done a couple of longer journeys as well as some trackdays. I also have a 2017, but in orange and i´ve done almost 10 000 miles on it. It´s great but if they put on a quickshifter i will buy that one at once!

Anders Carlsson wow great mileage! I only use mine for occasional outings as my job takes me away for a bit out of the month. As far as the QS, I know they make some aftermarket ones like Bazaaz and other ones.

to be fair and honest.. Z1000SX is more of street performer. It's 500lbs+. Try taking in through a chicane, you'll find a 250cc going faster than the Z1000SX.
